Following the Pokémon Day Max Raid Battle Event, 874,808 Pikachu got defeated and so the Special Item distribution is now live in Pokémon Sword & Shield through Mystery Gift > Receive Via Internet. From now until March 14th at 23:59 UTC, you will be able to get an Item Gift of: 87 Armorite Ore & 87 Dynite Ore

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Searching for Legends event event and features an increase in Ground and Steel Pokémon with Shiny Nosepass being available as of the event. It runs from March 9th at 10:00 local time to March 14 08:00 local time
This event features increased spawns of Diglett, Geodude, Magnemite, Nosepass, Aron, Baltoy, Roggenrola, Drilbur and more
This event will feature boosted Incense spawns of Alolan Diglett, Alolan Geodude, Magnemite, Nosepass, Aron, Lairon, Beldum, Roggenrola, Drilbur and more
Magnemite, Nosepass, Aron, Baltoy, Beldum and Drilbur will be in 5km Eggs
Alolan Diglett, Nosepass, Roggenrola, Drilbur, Ferroseed and Klink are in 1 Star raids while Alolan Graveler, Magneton, Skarmory, and Metang will appear in 3 star raids.
There will be Field Research tasks and a Timed Research which lets you encounter Pokémon such as Nosepass

Pokémon Sword & Shield
Following skipping the Players Cup II, Pokkén Tournament DX will be a part of the Players Cup III which takes place soon. As such, while TCG and VGC qualifiers have already run, today it was announced that Pokkén Tournament DX registration will be open at 17:00 UTC / 09:00 PST / 12:00 EST / 18:00 CEST on March 8th 2021.

It has been announced that players for the Pokémon TCG will soon be able to attend Pokémon League and Pre-Release Events in Australia and New Zealand starting now. This is as long as the venues follow the new special requirements due to the global situation. Future events are still undecided and more places will open up as health guidelines allow.
