Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Valentine's Day event event and features an increase of Pokémon that come in pairs and introduces Munna & Musharna into the game. It runs from February 14th 13:00 local time to February 18th 20:00 local time.
This event features increased spawns of Nidoran Female, Nidoran Male, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Luvdisc, Munna, Feebas and more
Eevee, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Luvdisc, Munna, Woobat and Cottonee will be in 5km Eggs
There will be Field Research tasks exclusive to the event to give encounters with Ralts, Volbeat, Illumise, Spinda #9 (Heart Pattern), Alomomola and more
Ralts, Volbeat, Illumise, Feebas, Munna and Espurr are in 1 Star raids while Togetic, Espeon, Umbreon, Gardevoir, Gallade and Alomomola will appear in 3 star raids.
Evolving Kirlia into Gardevoir or Gallade will give the move Synchronoise
There will be a Collection Challenge. Catch Nidoran Female, Nidoran Male, Espeon, Umbreon, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Latias, Latios and Alomomola to receive 5 Silver Pinap Berries, a Lucky Egg and an Egg Incubator
A special box featuring 3 Remote Raid Passes for free will be live
During this event, there will be various bonuses:
Gifts will contain more Berrues
You're more likely to become Lucky Friends with a player
Lucky Trades are more likely to happen at random
Trading distance is increased to 40km

The Lunar New Year Event is starting to run in Asia Pacific Regions. This event contains boosts of various Red Pokémon as well as the introduction of Mega Gyarados to the game. This event runs from 10:00 local time to February 14th at 13:00 local time. It also includes a new Timed Research. In addition to this, the Raid Battles have new bosses. We're currently compiling all details of this event so be sure to keep checking back.

Pokémon GO Battle League has now shifted to the Master League format, alongside its Premier Cup as well as the new Love Cup which only uses red or Pink Pokémon. This will run until February 15th 2020 at 21:00 UTC

The Lurking Shadow Legenday Event is now live in Pokémon Masters EX with a repeat run. This event runs until March 11th 2021 and tells the story of the appearance of Mewtwo, culminating in getting Giovanni & Mewtwo with various Item Exchanges and Prize Box
