Pokémon Sleep

Pokémon Sleep has announced some coming updates and features to the game. First,, more Pokémon will soon be added to the game. They will also add more alarm sounds and relaxing sounds as well as implementing anight mode for the title screen. They are also preparing the Good Sleep Day event which will run from August 30th 2023
Some bug fixes and issues are also to be addressed including issues making it difficult to meet a bedtime, another about collecting berries towards the edge of the screen and the app freezing on some devices. They also plan to optimise battery usage during sleep tracking
Finally, every player who players before September 2nd 2023 will get 10 Poké Biscuits, 30 Handy Candy S, 1 Growth Incense and 1 Focus Incense

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Noxious Swamp event and is due to run from August 19th at 10:00 to August 22nd at 20:00 local time and introduces Shiny Skrelp into the game
Zubat, Venonat, Tentacool, dratini, Surskit, Gulpin, Skorupi, Axew, Skrelp, Tyrunt and Noibat are spawning in the wild
Grimer, Alolan Grimer, Hisuian Qwilfish and Hisuian Sneasel are in 1 Star Raids
Galarian Weezing, Druddigon and Turtonator are in 3 Star Raids
There's 2* Catch Candy, more Team GO Rocket Balloons and one additional raid pass a day
Grimer, Dratini, Trapinch, Skrelp, Noibat and Mareanie are in Field Research
There will be free Timed Research focused around raiding to get encounters with Poison or Dragon-type Pokémon

To commemorate the end of the 2023 Pokémon World Championships, three of the various shows put on around Yokohama are to be livestreamed, although the stream may be cancelled or a video of a prior day's event will be shown depending on the weather
The Let's Celebrate, Pikachu Parade, is due to begin at 07:55 BST / 08:55 CEST / 15:55 JST / 02:55 EDT / 23:55 PDT
The Imagination! Into the Next dance and light show is due to begin at 11:10 BST / 12:10 CEST / 19:10 JST / 06:10 EDT / 03:10 PDT
The We Move dance & drone show is due to begin at 12:25 BST / 13:25 CEST / 20:25 JST / 07:25 EDT / 04:25 PDT
