The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the return of the Gimmighoul Spotlight event that features Chest Form Gimmighoul in 1 to 5 Star Raid Battles, with the 5 Star Raid Battles offering a chance of being Shiny, which cannot be found during normal gameplay in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
This event runs until August 22nd 2024 at 23:59 UTC

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Mass Outbreak event has begun. This event causes Mass Outbreaks of Wattrel in Paldea, Riolu in Kitakami and Comfey in the Blueberry Academy. This runs until August 22nd 2024 at 23:59 UTC. This event features increased chances of getting these Pokémon as Shiny as well as an increase chance of getting the Pumped-Up Mark.

Pokémon World Championships
Ahead of the Pokémon World Championships next week, the special Twitch Drops have been revealed. These will be available if you have Twitch Drops enabled on your Twitch account while watching the official livestreams
If you watch the TCG stream for 90 minutes, you can earn codes for an exclusive alternate art version of the 2024 World Championships deck box, coin and sleeves for TCG Live. You will also get booster packs for Shrouded Fable if you watch for at least 30 minutes.
If you watch the Pokémon GO stream, you will get Timed Research. If you watch on August 16th, you'll get Timed Research that will get you an encounter with Sableye, a pivotal part of ItsAXN's team that won in last year's World Championships. On August 17th, you'll get Timed Research that has you pick between three team options: Mantine, Dunsparce, Pancham & Galarian Weezing, Skorupi, Chespin & Jigglypuff, Shellos, Inkay. The Shellos that appears will be based on your current location
If you watch Pokémon UNITE for at least an hour, you will earn an Item Enhancer Box full of 50 Item Enhancers if you watch before the finals match on August 17th, and watching for at least an hour gives you a Unite License Selection Box to give you a Unite License of your choice
Finally, if you watch an official co-stream, there will be special Spheal themed Boxes, Sleeves and coins for TCG Live and if you watch a partnered Pokémon GO co-stream for 30 minutes, you will get unique Timed Research to get a World Championships 24 Pikachu

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is now available on Nintendo Switch in the GameBoy Advance software for all people with a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack subscription. This game is the GBA game that released in 2005 and features you playing as a human turned into Pokémon as they enter the world and try to discover why they have become a Pokémon, confronting Legendary Pokémon along the way.

The latest episode has aired in Japan today. This episode features Liko, Roy and Dot reaching Glaseado Mountain, only for Roy and Fuecoco to get separated in the snow. The "Galactic Awakening" Villain Event has begun a repeat run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event has you play stages against Team Galactic in order to once again obtain vouchers to exchange for various items. This event runs until August 23rd 2024.

A new Paid Pass is now available in Pokémon Café ReMix. This pass costs Ł24.99/$24.99/€24.99 and has you earn stars to obtain Shiny Galarian Slowpoke, alongside 40,000 Golden Acorns and more. It is available until August 29th 2024

The third batch of episodes for the show Pokémon Horizons is now available to watch on Netflix in the US, some European countries and Latin America. This show follows the story of Liko and Roy as they investigate Liko's mysterious pendant and Roy's Ancient Poké Ball along with the Rising Volt Tacklers, a group led by Friede and Captain Pikachu. The next 11 episodes are currently available on the platform which follow the story further including the group's trip finding out the mysteries behind Terapagos
