The next Mass Outbreak event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event will feature a focus on the Pokémon Silicobra in Paldea, Ekans in Kitakami and Seviper in the Blueberry Academy. They have higher chance of being Shiny
This event will run from 00:00 UTC on January 10th through 23:59 UTC on January 12th

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The Pokémon Company have put out the schedule for all the Global Challenge Online Competitions as part of their road to the Japan Championships. Each of these competitions will be Regulation G while Japan Championships will be Regulation I which will be revealed at a later point
The Global Challenge 2025 I will run from January 31st through February 2nd
The Global Challenge 2025 II will run from February 28th through March 2nd
The Global Challenge 2025 III will run from March 21st through March 23rd
The Global Challenge 2025 IV will run from April 11th through April 13th
A special competition just for the Top 120 players of each of those competitions in Japan will then run on May 11th ahead of the Japan Championship in June

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This is the Fashion Week Taken Over event event and is due to run from January 15th through 19th local time and adds Shroodle, Grafaiai and Shadow Palkia into the game
Shroodle will be obtainable in 12km Eggs
Team GO Rocket will appear more in PokéStops and Balloons and you can use a Charged TM to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon
You will get Croagunk in a baseball cap in GO Snapshots
Shadow Palkia will be available through facing Giovanni via Special Research unlocked in the event
Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish and Bunnelby will be available
Shadow Nidoran, Totodile and Ralts will be in 1 Star Raids
Shadow Electabuzz, Magmar & Wobbuffet will be in 3 Star Raids
There will be a Collection Challenge to receive an encounter with Trubbish

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Raid Day will run on January 19th 2025 from 14:00 to 17:00 local time, focused on the Pokémon Shadow Ho-Oh
Players will get up to 5 more additional Raid Passes from PokéStops and an Event ticket will be live for 8 more Raid Passes, 50% more experience, 2* more Stardust and more chance of getting a Rare Candy XL
Ho-Oh will have Sacred Fire if you use a Charge TM
You will have increased chance of a Shiny Shadow Ho-Oh

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Fest event dates and locations. These events will run on subsequent weekends throughout June in 2025. Currently no further details have been revealed for these events but we'll provide them as they come
Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
Jersey City, New Jersey: June 6th - 8th
Paris, France: June 13th - 15th

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - Ranked Battle Season 26
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Ranked Battle Season 26 has begun. This season features the return of the Regulation G format which allows for you to use 1 Restricted Legendary Pokémon per team. This season will run until January 31st at 23:59 UTC
Alongside this, as Season 25 is now over, the rewards are able to be collected for all players

Pokémon Sleep
The latest major Pokémon Sleep event, the New Year 2025 event is rolling out its second week. This event runs until 03:59 local time on January 13th 03:59. With the change in week, new Item Exchanges are available and the Pokémon that have boosted spawns will change
