Japanese magazine Famitsu recently had an early preview of the Pokémon Pokopia Bubbly Basin expansion. In this, they got a look at the new area and its elements
There is a new Pokédex in the game for the new areas
Even though Bubbly Basin is mostly underwater, there's some areas that are above water
More Pokémon including Wiglett and Mareanie have been confirmed
When underwater, you can use Rollout, Rototiller, Rock Smash and Leafage with no issues
There is a new item available in the free update of a shared storage unit, which allows items placed inside to be shared across all similar units no matter which town or location they are placed. This is a unique item that can be crafted and, in the preview, could store up to 140 items .
Frameless glass is available as a new item available in the free update allowing for you to place glass without a frame
A new item will be available for electricity generation under water

It has been confirmed that Pokémon Champions has been downloaded over 20 million times across Nintendo Switch and mobile devices since its launch in April.
To celebrate, from now until August 31st at 14:59 UTC, players will be able to log in and obtain 200 Quick Coupons for free.

The Pokémon GO x LEGO Collaboration Event has begun. In the UK, US, Australia, Poland and Germany from 10:00 local time, special Gyms and PokéStops will appear with 1 Star Pikachu raid with a chance to get a background. There is also Timed Research and a Stamp Rally at some of the PokéStops and a Bonus timed Research available with the code LEGOXPOKEMONGOXCAP. We have added full details to our Event Page
At the stores, you can also get a unique Sitrus Berry Tag for your LEGO Pokémon Smart Play sets

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out in Asia Pacific regions. This event is the Summer Marathon: Arctic Embers event which runs from 10:00 local time on August 4th through 20:00 local time on August 10th. It features the addition of Shiny Snom into the game. It also features a special GO Pass

The Pokémon GO Pass: August has started rolling out.. This will run from August 4th at 10:00 local time through September 8th 2026. As before, a free track is available for all players who gain access, or you can purchase to get even more rewards
The Pass will include encounters with Pokémon like Latias, as well as Stardust, Candy, Poké Balls, and if you purchase then you'll get more Rewards and a Lucky Trinket.

Pokémon Masters EX - Story Event
The second Pasio Gym Battle event is now live in Pokémon Masters EX. This event has you work alongside your team to defeat the Gym Leaders to earn points to get a variety of rewards including Vouchers to exchange and Superawakening Candy. It runs until August 20th 2026

Pokémon TCG Pocket - Emblem Event
The latest Pokémon TCG Pocket event is now live. This event, the Ruler of the Skies Emblem Event, is the latest Emblem Event which features missions based upon battling other players over the Internet. It provides special Emblems based on your performance. It runs until August 13th 2026
