Route 201 is the first route you will encounter within the Sinnoh region. In this route, you will find a few wild Pokémon and no trainers. It gives access to both Verity Lakefront and Sandgem Town. In Platinum, the trees in the area are sprinkled with a bit of snow and you receive your starter Pokémon within the route.
