Pokémon - April Fool's Day 2023

For the 2023 April Fool's, the official Pokémon Scarlet & Violet website filled the page with Lechonk and changed every Pokémon page to focus on Lechonk. This tied in with a distribution of a Flying Tera Type Lechonk that ran from March 31st 2023to celebrate the launch of the first Pokémon TCG set for Scarlet & Violet. Various merchandise was also added to the Pokémon Center as well as a Lechonk filter for Instagram and TikTok

As a soft tie in to April Fool's Day as well as the release of the Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet set, a Flying Tera Type lechonk was given away in several stores across the globe

At the start of April Fool's Day in Japan, the title screen for Pokémon Café ReMix changed, adding a substitute where Whimsicott was. Later in the day, at the daily reset, a new event began where you could get the Substitute outfit for Whimsicott

A special event also began in Pokémon UNITE as soon as it hit midnight in Japan. This small event allowed you to give Berries to Lechonk in order to get a special sticker for your Trainer Card
