Pok�mon Ranger: Shadows of Almia

Outside of the main quests within Pok�mon Ranger, there are 60 different small missions, otherwise known as quests that are unlocked within the game. These quests will allow for you to get many upgrades to your capture styler. Below are the quests, the tasks and their rewards. You will notice them by a bubble with three periods above their heads. Talk to them and accept the quest and it turns into a yellow bubble with an exclamation mark. You can only accept one quest at a time. Below are the quests in the order listed in the Quest function of the menu

1-30 | 31-60

Quest #31 - Charge Up The Trio!
Location: Ranger Union Task: In the top-right room on the first floor of the Ranger Union, you will find the scientist with the next quest. He asks for three fully evolved electric Pok�mon. These are Ampharos, Raichu & Luxray. Luxray is found in the Oil Field Hideout, Ampharos in Altru Tower and Raichu in several places including Volcano Cave. Once you have captured all three of them, return them here and the quest is over Reward: An Electric Capture Card
Quest #32 - Access the Ice Castle
Location: Hia Field Task: This quest requires you to have completed Quest #38 before doing it. Go to the wooden hut in the top left of Hia field. In here is the old woman who will give you the quest. She will say that some ice blocks have fallen just outside of Almia Castle. Go to Almia Castle and you will see them. Each of them need Burn * 2 to melt so for as little back and forth as possible, its best to bring along three fire Pok�mon with you such as the three Rapidash in Chroma Field. Once melted, return here and the quest is complete Reward: A Flying Capture Card
Quest #33 - Mom's Recipe
Location: Chicole Village Task: If you didn't choose Munchlax as your starter, this quest requires you to have completed Quest #41(M) before doing it. In the south-west house of Chicole Village, speak to your character's mother and she has a quest for you. This quest is relatively simple as all you have to do is check something on the refridgerator next to her. Once done, the quest will end Reward: A Fighting Capture Card
Quest #34 - White Pok�mon For Peace
Location: Altru Square Task: Towards the right of the middle of Altru Square is Quest #34. Speak to this girl and she will say that she wishes to see a Pok�mon that can fly and evolved from an Egg Pok�mon. This Pok�mon is Togekiss. It is found all the way at the top of Altru Tower, in the area just in front of Darkrai. Capture it and bring it down to this girl for the quest to end Reward: A Poison Capture Card Togekiss is now always found in Altru Tower
Quest #35 - Please Save Cranidos
Location: Vien Forest Task: Just north of Vein Town in the Forest, there will be a man. Speak to him and accept his quest in order to get Cranidos. Go north towards the first bridge you will see. Before going onto the bridge, follow the path left into you go down and go near a tree. Once at the tree, you will see Cranidos being chased by a Wartortle. When they see you, Cranidos will run up to you and you will have to face both of them. capture them both and Wartortle will leave. Cranidos will join your team here and the quest will end Reward: Cranidos joins you
Quest #36 - Please Save Shieldon
Location: Union Road Task: In the far west of Union Road, you will find this guy who has a quest. He says that he heard a Shieldon is stuck on the Peril Cliffs. Go there and you will be alerted to it. Fall off the vines above it to land on the platform. Sheildon will require capturing in order for it to become one of your partners Reward: Shieldon joins you
Quest #37 - Please Save Chimchar
Location: Chroma Highway Task: In Chroma Highway, just as you near Chroma Field, you will see this hiker with the quest. He will say that he heard some screams coming from the field. Go there and you will see a Chimchar being attacked by some Beedrill. When you approach, Chimchar will run to you and you will have to capture Chimchar and the Beedill. capture it and the quest ends as Chimchar joins your team Reward: Chimchar joins you
Quest #38 - Mischeivous Sneasel
Location: Hia Field Task: In the house at the top-left of Hia Field, you will find this quest. The lady here will say that a Pok�mon is causing havoc within Almia Castle. Head there and enter one of the rooms and you will see Sneasel playing about. It will run up to you and you have to capture it. Quest #39 - Snover's Mysterious Presence
Location: Volcano Cave Task: In the left entrance of Volcano Cave, you will see this hiker who claims he has heard some panicked screams coming from the other side of the cave. Accept the quest and go into the other entrance and you will see a Snover stuck on a cliff. Capture the Torkoal and use its Magma Flow to go round and approach Snover. Capture it and the quest ends as it joins your team Reward: Snover joins you
Quest #40 - Misdreavus Mischief Mystery
Location: Chroma Field Task: Just before the entrance to Chroma Ruins, you will see this archaeologist who says he saw a ghost inside the cave. Go in and follow the path until your first north room. Go into that room and Misdreavus will spot you and vanish. Go to leave the room and it'll pop up behind you, scaring you and putting you into a battle with it. Quest #41 (M) - Things That Go Bump
Location: Chicole Village Task: This quest only appears if you selected Pachirisu or Starly as your starter. In your house in Chicole Village, you will see your sister who has a Quest. She will say that she heard two noises comnig from upstairs and that she checked and there was nothing. Accept the quest and go upstairs and you will see a Munchlax playing in your room. Munchlax will approach you and you have to capture it. Once captured, the quest ends Reward: Munchlax joins you
Quest #41/42 (P)
Location: Ranger School Task: This quest only appears if you selected Munchlax or Starly as your starter. In the top right room of the ground floor of the Ranger school, you will see this girl by the desk. She will say that there have been numerous crates appear in the school and says that there are Pok�mon hiding in them. They all require Crush * 1 to open so be sure to use the Bidoof in the area. Destroy the box on the first floor on the left, and Pachirisu will appear and challenge you. Capture it and the quest ends Reward: Pachirisu joins you
Quest #42 (S)- Starly Lost It's Way
Location: Habura Desert Task: This quest only appears if you selected Munchlax or Pachirisu as your starter. Just before the entrance to Hippowdon Temple, you will see this archaeologist who claims that a bird managed to get into the temple. Follow the temple round until you reach the room with the arrow tile maze. Starly will constantly fly away from you whenever you get near. However, when he gets to one specific point, he has some times right at him pointing to him. Go to these tiles and approach him from there. He will get startled and attack. Quest #43 - What Happened to Machop?
Location: Union Road Task: In the Union Road, just south of the Ranger Union, you will find this old man with a quest. He will say that theres a Machop stuck in the Peril Cliff area. Follow this area through and you will find a Machop who is stuck behind a massive block. You need a Pok�mon with Crush * 4 in order to break this rock. Once its broken, Machop will challenge you. Quest #44 - Please Save Piplup
Location: Hia Field Task: Just before the north exit of Hia Field you will see this girl. She will tell you that a Piplup is getting attacked in the ice field. Accept and go to the Sourth west of the field. Once there, you will see that Piplup is being chased around a tree by Houndoom. They will both run towards you. you have to capture them both and once done, Piplup will join your Ranger force as the quest ends Reward: Piplup joins you

Location: Chicole Village Task: By the top-right house in Chicole Village you will see this boy with the quest. He will tell you that a Turtwig has been spotted on the cliff-side by Marine Cave in Vientown. Go there and follow the path west continually and you will see Turtwig. He will quickly challenge you. Quest #46 - Who is on Hippowdon's Nose?
Location: Haruba Village Task: In Haruba Village, you will see a boy with this quest. He will say that a Hippopotas has been spotted clinging for its life on top of Hippowdon Temple. Accept and go to the Temple, following it through until you reach outside again. Once you get there, capture Hippopotas and the quest ends Reward: Hippopotas joins you
Quest #47 - Pelipper's Plea
Location: Boyleland Task: Back on Boyleland, talk to the woman between the two top-most houses. She will say that theres a Pelipper inside the Volcano. Go in the east entrance and you will see the Pelipper as he flys off to take you somewhere. Follow him through the cave and then outside and he will show you that a Gible has found its way there. Quest #48 - Under the Bridge
Location: Chicole Village Task: By the top-right house in Chicole Village, you will see this girl standing next to a boy. She will say that theres people to meet at the Bridge in the School Road between Vientown & Ranger School. Simply go there to complete the quest Reward: A Water Capture Card
Quest #49 - Strange Crates Washed Ashore
Location: Vientown Task: Above all the houses in Vientown, you will see this man by a girl. Speak to him and he will say that a mysterious box is on the nearby beach. Go there and use Crush * 1 to destroy it. Once destroyed, the man will come to you and the quest ends Reward: A Normal Capture Card
Quest #50 - Go Talk To My Mom
Location: Pueltown Bridge Task: By the hut next to the bridge connecting Pueltown and Altru Square, you will find the guy with Quest #50. Speak to him and he will ask you to deliver a message to a friend in a house in Pueltown. Go back to the West Side of Pueltown and enter the 2nd house from the left at the top of the area. The quest will end Reward: A Flying Capture Card
Quest #51 - What Reporter Hans Forgot
Location: Chicole Village Task: South of Chicole Village, in the area you switch your partners, you will find the caretaker of the area. He asks you to go to Altru Tower and tell him how it looks. head there on foot and when you reach the area, you will see a cutscene. Return and the quest ends Reward: A Psychic Capture Card
Quest #52 - Bring Back The Oasis
Location: Haruba Village Task: In the bottom-right house in Haruba Village, you will see an old lady who says the lake in the village has dried up and she wishes rain would occur. Accept and head to Vien Forest. Capture the Blastoise there and bring it to the level above the house in Habura Village. You will be able to use its Field Ability of Rain Dance and it will rain, filling up the lake. The quest is now complete Reward: A Recovery Capture Card
Quest #53 - Wish For Vien Forest
Location: Chicole Village Task: This quest is only available after you beat the other 59 quests in the game. Go to the bottom-right house in Chicole Village and the woman will tell you that her son has headed off to Vien Forest. You will find him in the area that was on fire at the start of the game. He will mention that there are rumours of a Pok�mon nearby that could heal the area and says it could be near the waterfall. After this, go to the river dock and capture a Floatzel and use its River Flow. Follow the river along until you hit the area the waterfall is in and get back onto land. Celebi will appear and request you follow it. Follow it south and it will start a game of chase. Go counter-clockwise or chase it on a nearby Doduo using Ride to get to it. Capture it and you will end up back in the burnt out area. Celebi will heal the area and the quest ends Reward: The Supreme Defense Capture Card Celebi is now always found in Vien Forest
Quest #54 - Secret Kept by Three
Location: Ranger School Task: In the top-right room of the Ranger School, you will find the headmaster of the school. He will say that he has lost his diary and requests that you find it. To find it, go to the area between Ranger School and the Cargo Ship and you will see the Oath Monument. This needs a Rampardos and its Slam * 5 to push it back. Once moves, go inside and access the diary. You will read the entries as the Professor and the Headmaster come in. Once this bit has ended, the quest ends. Reward: A Dragon Capture Card
Quest #55 - Snow in Boyleland
Location: Boyleland Task: This quest requires you to have beaten Quest #13 and Quest #21. In the south-west house of Boyleland, speak to the girl and she will give you another quest. She wants it to snow on Boyleland and as such wants you to bring two of the strong ice Pok�mon back. These are Froslass and Glalie, both of which are found within Almia Castle. Once you return with them, you will be taken outside as they make it snow. The quest will then end Reward: A Ice Capture Card
Quest #56 - For Little Tim
Location: Vientown Task: In the farmhouse in Vientown, speak to the woman and she will say that she wishes to see a Slakoth. These are found in the trees outside the Ranger School and need Slam * 1 in order to knock one out of the tree. Capture it and return it here for the quest to be over Reward: A Ground Capture Card
Quest #57 - Murph's Disappearing Act
Location: Shiver Camp Task: This quest requires you to have completed Quest #19. Speak to the guy here and he will ask you to look for his son. He suggest going to his grandmother in Hia Field. Go to the wood house in the to-left of Hia Field and speak to the old lady inside. She will say that her grandson has headed to Almia Castle for a picnic. Go to Almia Castle and follow it all the way through to the end where you battled Lucario and you will see the guy. The quest then ends Reward: A Steel Capture Card
Quest #58 - Staraptor High In The Sky
Location: Ranger Union Task: Outside of the Ranger Union, you will see a girl standing by a Staraptor. She wants her Staraptor to fly but says it needs to learn by seeing and requests you bring six Staraptor to her. This is relatively easy as there are Staraptor everywhere. Grab the Doduo beneath and use its Ride to take less time. Go from here along to Chroma Field, capturing every Staraptor you see and then double-back and go down to Vien Forest to get some more. Once you have all six, return to the Ranger Union and speak to her and the quest will end Reward: A Latent Power Capture Card
Quest #59 - Gift of Music for Isaac
Location: Pueltown Task: In the east part of Pueltown, you will find a girl who wants to perform with four musical Pok�mon. These are Jigglypuff, Chingling, Chatot & Kricketune. Chatot is found nearby in Pueltown, but Jigglypuff and Chingling are found in The Crysta Lake while Kricketune is across the river in Vien Forest. The latter three all require River Flow * 1 to get to them. Return the four here and you will be taken to Altru Building where they will perform and the quest will end Reward: A Long Line Capture Card
Quest #60 - Ponte's Path to Take
Location: Chroma Field Task: After following Chroma Ruins all the way through, you will come to a house in Chroma Field that has a member of Team Dim Sun inside. He will say that he needs a Pok�mon with a big nose and red hat to model with. Go back into the ruins until you reach the big area with Sandshrew and Bastiodon in. Use Drifblim to Elevate up in the bottom-right portal and you will see a door that requires Psycho Power * 3. Destroy the door and inside is a Probopass. Capture it and take it to this guy. He will take you to Vientown and the quest will be over Reward: A Rock Capture Card
