Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - Battle Competition
Registration for the next Battle Competition has begun. This is the Ultra Sinnoh Classic competition. This is a Single Battle competition using rules where players can only use Pokémon that were in the Sinnoh Pokédex. No Alola Forms, Mega Stones or Z-Crystals are allowed. Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus are banned. All Pokémon will be raised to Level 50 for the duration of the competition. Registration runs from February 15th 2018 to February 22nd 2018. Battles will run from February 23rd through February 25th. All entrants will get the 50 Battle Points.

Originally set to end at time of writing, due to issues with the Pokémon GO servers today, the Valentine's Day event which featured increased spawns for Luvdisc & Chansey and triple stardust when you capture them has been extended by a further 24 hours, now set to end at 21:00 UTC tomorrow, February 16th. In addition to this, to celebrate the Lunar New Year, you will also receive higher stardust when catching Eevee, Poochyena, Growlithe, Snubbull and Electrike until February 17th

A new Safari Zone event has been announced. This Safari Zone ties in with the Chiayi Lantern Festival in Taiwan from February 26th to March 3rd and within it, Pokémon such as Unown Dragonair, Dratini, Mr. Mime and Growlithe will begin appearing in the day, but around 5pm local time, Chinchou and Lanturn will also start spawning as well

A special new collection of outfits has arrived in Pokémon GO. These clothing items allow for you to dress up like members of Team Rocket and Team Rainbow Rocket. These come with the hat, gloves, trousers and two different shirts, for both genders. They each cost coins to obtain

Following their release in Japan three weeks ago and America two weeks ago, two new Nintendo 3DS themes will be available in Europe tomorrow morning.
The first is Pokémon: Team Plasma (BW) which features artwork of N, Ghetsis, the sages & Genesect with the Battle! Team Plasma music from Black & White
Next is Pokémon: Team Plasma (B2W2) which features artwork of N, Ghestis, Colress and other Team Plasma members. It has the Battle Team Plasma music from Black 2 & White 2. Both can be purchased for Ł1.79/€1.99
