The next Egg Event has been announced. This event, the Poison & Psychic Egg event will provide new Sync Pairs of the Main Character and Grimer, Abra and Exeggcute. It is expected on November 5th 2020

During an interview with Famitsu, Niantic have stated some upcoming changes to GO Battle League starting with Season 6
With Season 6, rather than there being 10 ranks, there will be 24 ranks. The first 20 will be obtained by wins only while the top 4 based on rating. The Top 4 are to be called Elite, Veteran, Master & Battle Legend
They also have the goal of having a big esports event for Pokémon GO

GO Battle League Season 4 has now shifted to the format of allowing Great League, Ultra League and Master League Battles. This format will run for one week until November 9th 2020 at 21:00 UTC.
