The Pokémon GO Special Weekend events are running this weekend in Japan, Mexico and the US. These events include various spawns of rare Pokémon, the addition of Shiny Ferroseed to the game as well as some Timed Research. They run as follows:
United States
Verizon - November 7th at 11:00 to 14:00 local time
Grubhub - November 8th at 11:00 to 14:00 local time
Mexico
7-11 - November 7th at 11:00 to 14:00 local time
Japan
Softbank & 7-11 - November 7th at 11:00 to 14:00 local time
Matsumoto Kiyoshi - November 8th at 11:00 to 14:00 local time
