The Pokémon GO Level Cap Test has gone live for some select Level 40 players in Australia. From now, these players can increase their level up to Level 50 and can even boost the Pokémon's level and CP using new Candy XL to get the Pokémon higher. Level 41 requires 6 million experience, Powering up Legendary Pokémon 20 times, Win 30 Raids, Catch 200 Pokémon in a single day
Edit: It costs 100 Candy to get 1 Candy XL but you can also get them from hatching eggs. You will need 256 Candy XL to bring a Pokémon to max level

The ticket for the "No Match for Magmar" Special Research is now available for purchase in Pokémon GO. This ticket costs Ł0.79/$0.99/€0.99 and provides Special Research to get Magmar encounters and various items.

Niantic have announced that they have cancelled the Pokémon GO City Spotlight event for the city of Kyoto due to the current global situation. The event in Tainan, Auckland and Busan is still set to go forward this weekend on November 22nd from 10:00 to 18:00 local time. Players who purchased the ticket for Kyoto should be receiving a refund shortly

A new Story Chapter; Chapter 27 been added in Pokémon Masters. This adds a few story stages continuing the narrative of you entering the Quarter Finals of the Pokémon Masters League.
Alongside this, the Battle Villa has made a return, running from today until December 4th 2020
