Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the New Year's 2023 event and is due to run from December 31st at 20:00 to January 4th at 20:00 local time and introduces Pikachu & Noctowl in New Years Outfits into the game
There will be special avatar Items, Poses and Stickers in the event
Pikachu in a top hat, Hoothoot in a top hat and Wurmple in a party hat will spawn in the wild
Pichu in a party hat, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Togepi, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Azurill and Wynaut will hatch in 7km eggs
Bulbasaur in a party hat, Charmander in a party hat and Squirtle in a party hat will be in Field Research
Bulbasaur in a party hat, Charmander in a party hat, Squirtle in a party hat, Pikachu in a top hat and Hoothoot in a top hat will be in 1 Star Raids
Raticate in a party hat, Nidorino in a party hat, Gengar in a party hat and Wobbuffet in a party hat will be in 3 star Raids
Reshiram will be in 5 Star Raids
Reshiram will get Fusion Flare
There will be a Collection Challenge to receive Stardust
There will be 50% Egg Distance during the event, but 25% for the first three eggs using the Hatching Widget

The Pokémon GO Winter Holiday Part 2 event is now rolling out in Asia Pacific regions. This event runs from 10:00 local time until 20:00 local time on December 31st and features the addition of special hat Eevee into the game

One new piece of Holowear have been released for Pokémon UNITE. This is the Holiday Style (Blue) outfit for Pikachu which costs 2999 Gems with unique animations for Scoring, Return, KOs and Movement. This is Premium Holowear

Pokémon UNITE is to today receive a balance update. This balance update is focused around a variety of Pokémon's moves with a lot of cooldown increases. It will drop at 07:00 UTC today, December 22nd, We've added details to our Patch Section and will add more when the patch is live
Edit @ 07:07: Pokémon UNITE has added a Beta In-Game Tournament mode to the game. First tournament open to Japanese players from January 5th through 7th

Pokémon Café ReMix
The next Delivery focus has been announced for Pokémon Café ReMix. Starting December 23rd, Froslass will appear in a Royal Winter Outfit as the focus of the a new Delivery feature. This will run until January 11th 2023
The Version 3.7.0 update is also now live for the game. This adds the various events and Pokémon updates to the game for the coming month

Pokémon World Championships
The requirements to qualify for the Pokémon World Championships have been revealed for the Video Game Championships
In the US, you need 300 Points if you're a Master, 130 for Senior or 130 for Junior
In Europe, you need 250 for Masters, 130 for Seniors, and 100 for Juniors
In Latin America, Oceania and Middle East & South Africa, you'll need 200 for Masters, 130 for Seniors and 100 for Juniors
