A special Pokémon TCG Promo Card has been revealed. This card is a new artwork featuring Pikachu battling Mew in a Honolulu inspired backdrop with artwork by Atsushi Furusawa to celebrate the Pokémon World Championships and will be available as a gift with purchase at stores that sell Pokémon cards, as well as the Pokémon Centers, from August 2nd through 18th. It'll also be available at a Worlds Celebration as local Leagues from August 12th through 18th as well as a prize in the US for players who perform well in the Fantasy Team

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This is the Adventure Week event and is due to run from August 2nd at 10:00 to August 12th at 20:00 local time
Diglett, Omanyte, Kabuto, Dunsparce, Roggenrola, Drilbur, Bunnelby and Aerodactyl are in the wild
Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt and Amaura are in 7km Eggs
Dunsparce, Lileep, Anorith, Cranidos, Shieldon, Roggenrola, Drilbur, Tirtouga, Archen, Bunnelby, Tyrunt, Amaura and Aerodactyl Mega Energy are in Field Research
There will be paid Timed Research that gives 2 Incubators, 1 Super Incubator and encounters with Event Pokémon
There will be Collection Challenges to receive Stardust, Encounters and Aerodactyl Mega Energy
There will be 2* Experience for PokéStops, 5* for the First time you spin it. There's 2* Hatch Experience and you have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura.

The latest Pokémon GO event is rolling out in Asia Pacific regions. This event, Strength of Steel, is the second Ultra Unlock event and features the introduction of Shiny Togedemaru into the game

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO events for August 2024.
Adventure Week will run from August 2nd to 12th with a Team GO Rocket Takeover on August 8th through 12th
A Shadow Raid Weekend will run on August 10th to 11th
The Pokémon World CHampionships event will run August 16th - 20th
A Community Day Classic will run on August 18th
Triumph Together runs on August 23rd - 30th
Shadow Suicune will be in Shadow Raids all month
Moltres will be in 5 Star Raids from August 3th - 12th alongside Mega Aerodactyl
Thundurus will be in 5 Star Raids from August 12th - 21st alongside Mega Kangaskhan
Xerneas will be in 5 Star Raids from August 21st through September 3rd, alongside Mega Salamence
The Spotlight Hours have also been confirmed as Drilbur on August 6th, Lileep on August 13th, Mankey on August 20th and Magnemite on August 27th

The second Bingo Panel as part of the Pokémon Café ReMix Ogerpon's Festival event is now live.. This panel gives a variety of tasks with rewards culminating in the Stylish Orange colour outfit for Meowth
