The Pokémon GO Fest 2026 details have been announced. These live events will introduce Zeraora into the game and the details on event gameplay have been confirmed
Mewtwo will be in 5 Star Raid Battles in the event
There will be different cap Pikachu for each event: Team Instinct in Chicago, Team Mystic in Tokyo and Team Valor in Copenhagen
Shiny Wash Rotom will make its debut in the in-person events
Combat Breed Paldean Tauros will be in Copenhagen, Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros will be in Chicago and Aqua Breed Paldean Tauros will be in Tokyo. They will be in 3 Star Raids and will be Shiny.
Comfey will appear in person at the event
Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre will be in Primal Raids. Shadow Articuno & Suicune will be in Shadow Raids in Tokyo. Shadow Zapdos & Raikou will be in Shadow Raids in Chicago and Shadow Moltres & Entei will be in Shadow Raids in Copenhagen

The Memories in Motion season is now rolling out in Pokémon GO. This runs from 10:00 local time today to 10:00 local time on June 2nd 2026 and features differing spawns, as well as a new Special Research, GO Pass, Egg Pools, and more. It also features some big previously announced changes including the ability for all released Shiny Pokémon to be eligible to be Shiny in the wild, regardless of if they are ean evolved Pokémon

The next Pokémon GO event is rolling out globally. This event is the Pokémon 30th Anniversary event which runs from 10:00 local time on March 3rd through 20:00 local time on March 9th and features a focus on Kanto Pokémon. It has a GO Pass available featuring every Kanto Pokémon evolution chain available

Pokémon - Plakoro
The Pokémon Company have revealed a new board game, Plakoro. This game is a redo of a classic game from 1997 and is developed by The Pokémon Company and Creatures Inc. with aid from Bandai.
In this game, you have got a variety of dice that you can customise with move energy types and you have to roll them and your Pokémon in order to attack your opponent. If you match the Energy for one of the Move Cards you have in play, you will be able to do damage to the opposing Pokémon.
It will release in Japan soon with no international release confirmed at this time
