Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Venusaur event and is the first in the series of weekly Starter Pokémon Tera Raid Battle reruns. This event has Venusaur appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Ground Tera Type. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one Venusaur from raids per save file
This event runs until January 15th 2026 at 23:59 UTC

The Pokémon Company have revealed more cards for the next Japanese Pokémon TCG set, Nihil Zero, ahead of its release in two weeks. This update contains a variety of cards including the first Mega Starmie card

Pokémon TCG Pocket - Wonder Pick Event
The latest Pokémon TCG Pocket event is now live. This event is the latest Wonder Pick event which features a special Wonder Pick featuring new Heliolisk & Buneary Promo cards, as well as various missions to earn Shop Tickets to exchange for new cosmetic items themed around Goomy. It runs until January 19th 2026.

Pokémon UNITE has received a update which adds a variety of things to the game.
First, the Pokémon Meowth is now available to obtain as a new unique Unite License. Alongside this, its new Happi Style Holowear is also available

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Battles for next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition have begun. This competition is the Grand Challenge 2026 IV competition and runs standard Regulation F rules.
Battles run from 00:00 UTC on January 9th to 23:59 UTC on January 11th. This competition also gives 10,000 League Points to all players who complete 3 or more battles
Players enrolled in the Pokémon Championship Series can earn Championship Points for ranking.

Pokémon Masters EX - High Score Event
A new High Score event has begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is the Ghost & Fairy Conqueror event which features battles against Ghost & Fairy Sync Pairs with the aim to earn the most points to get rewards. It runs until January 18th 2026

The latest Pokémon TCG Pocket Ranked Match season, Season B1a is now live. This is the ninth Ranked Match season where you work up the ranks by winning in battles against random players online. After the season ends, you will get Emblems based on your position. This season runs until January 26th 2026
