During the Opening Ceremony, the first reveal was for Pokémon Masters EX. This reveal showcased the conclusion of a teaser trailer from the recent Pokémon Presents and introduced the Sync Pair of Ash & Pikachu, coming August 29th. It also showcased the first footage of the Trainer Lodge feature

During the opening ceremony, the next new stage for Pokémon UNITE was revealed, Theia Sky Ruins. This showcased the new stage with the various new wild Pokémon within, ending on a focus on Rayquaza

During the closing ceremony, the next saga of the Pokémon Trading Card Game was revealed. This revealed that Pokémon ex were to make a return, with a small video describing how they were to be able to be evolved Pokémon and have some strong moves and high hit points

During the closing ceremony, a special Competitive focused trailer was shown for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This confirmed the return of competitive play in the game with Battle Stadium and revealed a new Pokémon, Cyclizar.

It also revealed a variety of new moves and items to be used including the Shed Tail move, Tera Beam move and the items Loaded Dice, Mirror Herb and Covert Cloak

This distribution was given to players on the online stream for the Video Game Championship and was the first distribution of Victini in Generation 8 with the code W0RLD22V1CT0RY

This distribution was given to players who are at the Pokémon World Championships if you have your Nintendo Switch. It has the special moves of Celebrate and holds a Moomoo Milk

Memento Metronome Aromatherapy Celebrate

This card was given to players of Pokémon Trading Card Game Online or Trading Card Game Live through a special code given on the Pokémon TCG Livestream. The code is World22 London

There are two special T-Shirts that were given away at the Pokémon World Championships.

The first, the blue Worlds Tee was given away through a special code on the Twitch Stream and on the Social Media platforms with the code WRGUZRVKRR2M3. It was redeemable until August 22nd 2022
The second, the red Worlds Participant Tee, was available only through special PokéStops at the Pokémon GO Booth at the event in London

There are two special promotions for Pokémon UNITE at the Pokémon World Championships.

The first, are a set of event missions that run in-game from August 14th through August 22nd
The second, the Worlds Tee, was available through a special code given through the Pokémon UNITE livestream. The code was Worlds2022

A pop-up Pokémon Center was open during the event. This Pokémon Center , unlike past years, required an appointment reservation so as to prevent large queues that were prominent during the Pokémon Center London opening. This Pokémon Center contained various merchandise including many exclusive things with the World Championships 2022 motif
It was separated into multiple areas. First was an exclusive Worlds Merchandise pop up with various exclusive items. Beyond that was the usual Worlds apparell and items leading into the Pink London line. Various miscellaneous T_Shirts from OMOCAT and the Pokémon Trainers theme were included before moving to the Gingham Line. Beyond that was a collection of plush and TCG items.

For the duration of the Pokémon World Championships, The Pokémon Company International teamed up with Transport for London and took over the London Cable Car, which go between the Royal Docks and North Greenwich. The stations were adorned with various Pokémon themed posters and Pokémon music playing on the audio.

There were at least 18 cable cars, representing each type with 8 different Pokémon of that type represented on the decals.

From Thursday through to Sunday, outside the ExCeL London venue. This activity didn't require a spectator pass but required you to sign up for specific slots. Inside, there are a variety of activities

Meeting Pikachu & Eevee

In the area, there were big meet and greets with Pikachu and Eevee. Pikachu sometimes wore the special outfit for the Pokémon World Championships

Food & Drink

In the Worlds Square, there were three kinds of Bubble Tea to drink, as well as a Poké Ball Wheel Cake and a Poké Ball, Great Ball or Ultra Ball Cookie

Card Creation

There was an area, sponsored by Kidzania London, where you could create a special custom TCG card, allowing for you to customise moves, image of the Pokémon and more

Face Painting

Using various stencils, you could get your face or arm painted to feature silhouettes of Poké Balls, Pikachu, Eevee or any of the type icons

On the Friday at 18:30 by Worlds Square was a special screening of the whole The Arceus Chronicles special, a world first for the dub version, ahead of its Netflix release
