The Pokémon UNITE Network Test is now live on the Nintendo Switch in Japan. This will run until 23:59 JST / 14:59 UTC on Sautrday, June 26th and is designed to test the servers ahead of the global launch next month. Progress will not carry over to the full game. As such, we're going to be compiling all the details from this and adding them to the section, though specific data may change by launch. We'll keep updating so be sure to keep checking back

The Pokémon Company International have announced a new set to celebrate Pokémon's 25th Anniversary; Celebrations. This small set features over 45 cards, a subset of 25 remakes of classic cards, 4 Pokémon V and 2 Pokémon VMAX including returning mechanics such as Dark Pokémon, Delta Species, Pokémon C,Pokémon Star, Light Pokémon, Lv. X Pokémon Pokémon Prime and Pokémon V-UNION and remade cards including Base Set Charizard, Umbreon ☆ and Tapu Lele GX. It will start on October 8th across 9 products

Niantic have announced details for Pokémon GO Fest Day 2. During this, there will be special Raid Battles of all Legendary Pokémon appearing thus far in the game. These will rotate in 1 hour slots
During Wind Hour, occurring from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time, Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Regigigas, Altered Forme Giratina, Cresselia, and Therian Forme Tornadus will be in raids.
During Lava Hour, occurring from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, Moltres, Entei, Regirock, Groudon, Heatran, Reshiram, Therian Forme Landorus, and Yveltal will be in raids.
During Frost Hour, occurring from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Articuno, Suicune, Lugia, Regice, Kyogre, Palkia, and Kyurem will be in raidss. Plus, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf will be in raids in the regions that they normally appear in!
During Thunder Hour, occurring from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, Zapdos, Raikou, Registeel, Rayquaza, Dialga, Therian Forme Thundurus, Zekrom, and Xerneas will be in raids.
As mentioned before, if you have a ticket you will get many Raid Passes through the event including 10 free Raid Passes from Gyms, 8 Remote Raid Passes from Timed Research and a Free Box containing 3 Remote Raid Passes

The Pokémon GO Bdioof Breakout is now rolling out in Asia Pacific Regions. From 10:00 local time until 20:00 local time on July 1st, Bidoof will be spawning in the wild, with its Shiny variant now being available. It will also learn various moves using Charge TMs for the duration of the event. We're currently compiling all details of this event so be sure to check our event section

Niantic have announced some upcoming changes to Raid Battles rolling out this summer. First there will be art and user experience updates and special Trainer Achievements. These will be things to celebrate at the end of each raid showcasing the data of things such as:
Delivering the final attack
Dealing the most damage overall
Keeping a single Pokémon in battle for the longest time of all participants
Using the tallest Pokémon among all participants in battle
Joining the raid from furthest distance
Using a Mega-Evolved Pokémon during the battle
Changing your avatar's clothing or pose
Using the most Charged Attacks of all participants

To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Pokémon Café Mix, all players are now being given 2,500 Golden Acorns and 25 Helping Paws. In addition to that, it's confirmed that more costumes will come for Pokémon in the future such as Rowlet in a monocle and more Pokémon are being added with the new update including Cyndaquil
