Edit @ 14:17: Updated the Pokémon Listings to show maximum damage for attacks. Any damage listed for moves is in ideal conditions against the Substitute Doll with the Pokémon at Level 15, no boosts and if all the effects of the move are not removed/reduced by other attacks.

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO events for August 2021.
First, the Research Breakthrough Reward has been announced. From August 1st 2021 at 20:00 UTC to September 1st 2021 at 20:00 UTC you'll get a Chimecho
Mega Ampharos will be in raids from August 6th through August 20th. Mega Beedrill from August 20th through August 26th and Mega Pidgeot from August 26th through September 1st

Pokémon GO Battle League has now shifted to the Ultra League format, alongside Ultra League Remix which bans the top Ultra League Pokémon used during the last season: Venusaur, Charizard, Clefable, Poliwrath, Alolan Muk, Gyarados, Lapras, Articuno, Umbreon, Scizor, Swampert, Registeel, Empoleon, Togekiss, Giratina Altered Forme, Cresselia, Escavalier, Talonflame, Melmetal & Obstagoon. This will run until August 9th 2021 at 20:00 UTC

Niantic have announced the Spotlight Hours for the month of July. They happen at 6pm to 7pm local time are as follows:
August 3rd - Magnemite - 2* Catch Stardust
August 10th - East Sea Shellos - 2* Catch Experience
August 17th - East Sea Shellos - 2* Catch Candy
August 24th - "A certain Pokémon" - 2* Transfer Candy
August 31st - "A certain Pokémon" - 2* Evolution Experience

DeNA have outlined some upcoming changes to Pokémon Masters EX
In late July, there will be a Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout featuring Red, Blue and Leaf in their Sygna Suits. It will last 72 hours
Evelyn and Entei will be available through the BP Sync Pair Super Voucher
From August 9th, you'll get Battle Points from the Champion Stadium Master Mode
The final story will run from July 30th
A solo event also beings on July 30th featuring Scouts of Lear & Hoopa, as well as Rachel & Umbreon and Sawyer & Honchkrow. The event is Lear Takes the Lead
A new Daily Rotation event will run of Type Rotations focused on specific types. This runs from August 5th
Falkner & Swellow also start to appear in the game from August 5th in a scout
The run up to 2 Year Celebration begins August 12th ans introduces Max Moves, which players can use once per battle
Legendary Event Howling Shield of Eternity runs from August 12th and gives Hop & Zamazenta
Threee Legendary Events will return at the same time: New World Dilemma, Give and Take and Father or Foe
Blissful Bonanza will return, as will Legendary Arena Cresselia

Pokémon Masters EX
The Lurking Shadow Legenday Event is now live in Pokémon Masters EX with a repeat run. This event runs until August 19th 2021 and tells the story of the appearance of Mewtwo, culminating in getting Giovanni & Mewtwo with various Item Exchanges and Prize Box. This event also adds Giovanni's Sync Grid to the game
