Following the accidental reveal of it in a newsletter a few days ago, Niantic has announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is Sweet Discoveries and is due to run from April 24th at 10:00 to April 29th at 20:00 local time and adds Applin, Flapple & Appletun into the game
Applin will evolve into Flapple and Appletun with 200 Candy and 20 of each Apple: Tart Apple for Flapple and Sweet Apple for Appletun. Apples can be found on the screen when on the map. Apples on the map can also be Applin encounters
You have 2* Catch Candy
Increase chance of getting Shiny Delibird, Skowvet and Cherubi
Catching Delibird and Skwovet will get Berries
Apples will appear more at Mossy Lure Modules
Alolan Rattata, Abra, Bellsprout, Delibird, Gulpin, Bidoof, Munna, Bounsweet, Skwovet, Snorlax, Shuckle and Komala will spawn in the wild
Delibird, Cherubi, Munchlax and Skwovet will be in 7km Eggs
There will be Field Research for encounters of event Pokémon
There will be free Timed Research to get encounters, a Mossy Lure Module, a Tart Apple and a Sweet Apple
There will be paid Timed Research to get 2 Mossy Lure Modules and encounters with event Pokémon including Delibird, Skwovet & Applin
Applin Headband and Applin Apron will be available in the in-game store

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Max Battle Weekend. On April 26th & 27th, Dynamax Entei will be in Max Battles. During the event you can get up to 1600 Max Particles a day, 25% distance to get Max particles and you get 8 Max Particles from Power Spots. There will be Timed Research from April 21st to April 26th you will get free Timed Research which gives a Dynamax Sobble and rewards to prepare

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced a new feature, the Stamp Rally. With this feature, when you reach a PokéStop that is eligible for it, you will get a Stamp Sheet and when you go to specific PokéStops, you will be able to get a stamp for your stamp sheet. Like with actual Stamp Rallies, the appearance changes based on how long you press it. If you collect all the stamps, you can get items or encounters.
This first Stamp Rally is live in Osaka as part of the Expo 2025 - Osaka Kansai which runs from April 13th through October 23rd 2025
Edit @ 10:18: A second Stamp Rally will go live in Suita City around Pokémon GO Fest Osaka in May 29th 2025. It won't expire
The Stamp Rally is also planned to be added to the PokéLids across Japan, as well as through other events. The PokéLid stamp rally will use the PokéLid designs as the stamp but will also have a cooperative Stamp Rally style display so you can send stamps to friends

Pokémon Masters EX - Collaboration Scout
As part of the special collaboration with the Pokémon Trading Card Game, to celebrate the launch of the new set Hot Air Arena last month in Japan, a new Variety Scout has been added that focuses on one of the key Trainers of that set. This Variety Scout adds the Sync Pair of Cynthia & Spiritomb into the game. It is available until April 24th 2025

Pokémon Café ReMix
Pokémon Café ReMix has announced the next delivery focus. Starting from tomorrow, April 11th 2025, the Pokémon Sinistea and Polteageist will be available in the same delivery, adding them both to the game. Sinstea has Candy Jar and Butter as a gimmick while Polteageist has Mayo Jar and Tea as a gimmick. We'll provide more details when the event goes live tomorrow
