A Pokémon Presents has been announced. This Pokémon Presents will air on February 27th at 14:00 UTC / 09:00 EST / 06:00 PST / 15:00 CET / 23:00 JST. It's currently unclear what it will feature but it will last 25 minutes as part of this year's Pokémon Day celebrations.

Pokémon FireRed & Pokémon LeafGreen
Pokémon FireRed & Pokémon LeafGreen have been added to the Nintendo Switch eShop with pre-orders. Release is currently set for February 27th 2026 and will cost Ł16.99/$19.99 to purchase.
These games require 40MB to download and have local wireless support with the Pokémon Wireless Club and support to battle and trade. The games do not feature online play.

The app, Nintendo Music, available on iOS and Android for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, has added the full soundtrack for the game, Pokémon FireRed & Pokémon LeafGreen to celebrate the announcement of the re-releases on Nintendo Music. This contains all 64 tracks from throughout the game

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the Mighty Sceptile event and is the latest in the series of weekly Starter Pokémon Tera Raid Battle reruns. This event has Sceptile appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Dragon Tera Type. As with all past 7 Star Raid events, players can only catch one Sceptile from raids per save file
This event runs until February 26th 2026 at 23:59 UTC

The Pokémon GO Tour Mega Night event is now rolling out. This event features a variety of Mega Evolution themed spawns and Mega Raids, including the introduction of Mega Dragonite into the game.

The first Pokémon GO Tour live event in Tainan is now rolling out. This is a three day event that has a focus around Kalos and Kalos Pokémon, adding Mega Victreebel & Mega Malamar into the game via Super Mega Raids, alongside various new Shiny Pokémon. It also features Masterwork Research to get Shiny Diancie.

To comemmorate Pokémon Day, a special event bonus has been announced for Pokémon Sleep. For Sleep Research on February 26th, all Drowsy Power will be increased by a factor of 1.5 to help give boosts and improved Pokémon from Sleep Research

Pokémon UNITE has announced a myriad of changes coming to the game starting February 27th 2026. First, Pokémon moves will be decided outside of battle before the battle begins, meaning you can't change the intended moves in battle. Some Pokémon will also only have one move path as you go through
Unite Licenses will be changed so new licenses with 1 Move Path will cost 590 Gems
They intend to release 2 Pokémon a month in the game
A new battle mode, Solo Mode, is going to be released. This mode has you go through prepared stages to earn rewards including Rental Licenses, License Points and more. The stages will have specific requirements for completion suich as defeating Altaria 3 times and more. Each stage has Combat Power set as a guideline for difficulty. You can increase your Combat Power by increasing the level of hold items and the mode exclusive Aeos Shooter
A special Super Panic Parade will be held which focuses on Kanto Pokémon to celebrate Pokémon's 30th anniversary

Pokémon Sleep has revealed the next update will come alongside maintenance on February 24th at 04:30 UTC to 09:00 UTC. With this update, a variety of changes will come
Pinsir's Main Skill will change to Charge Strength M
Heracross's Main Skill will change to Bulk Up (Cooking Assist S) which gets you ingredients chosen at random. Also raises your Extra Tasty rate by a small amount.
The effectiveness of Charge Strength S, Charge Strength M and Bad Dreams (Charge Strength M) at level 7 will be adjusted

The first Pasio Gym Battle event is now live in Pokémon Masters EX. This event has you work alongside your team to defeat the Gym Leaders to earn points to get a variety of rewards including Vouchers to exchange and Superawakening Candy. It runs until February 27th 2026

Battles for the next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition hasvebegun. This is the Grand Challenge V competition and is the fourth online competition of the season that give players a chance to earn Championship Points towards their 2026 Pokémon World Championships invite. This competition runs Regulation F rules
Battles run until 23:59 UTC on February 22nd 2026.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles
