Lavaridge Town is located at the base of Mt. Chimney. This town is fairly small but provides a tourist spot by holding various hot springs. It also has a Herb Shop where various items can be purchased.

Move Tutor
In Emerald, within the house to the north-east, you will find a young boy who will offer to teach your Pokémon Mimic. This is free but can only be taught once

Gym
The Lavaridge Town Gym is a gym based on two floors. These floors can be travelled between via various spots which send the player to the other floor. As such, you need to navigate throughout thevarious areas to get round to the end where Flannery, the Fire-type Gym Leader is. Defeating Flannery earns you the Heat Badge and TM50, Overheat
