Recruiting Ranch

In Pokémon Champions, while you can transfer Pokémon in to Pokémon Champions from Pokémon HOME, you have the ability to scout for various Pokémon at the Roster Ranch, which is run by Kitt.

In the Roster Ranch, you will get a collection of Pokémon that you have the ability to recruit. This refreshes every 22 hours but, it can be sped up by using Victory Points or Quick Tickets and you will then get another batch. The Pokémon available in the ranch will change periodically as well.

You will be able to see the current stats of each of the Pokémon and their moves before you recruit them, but you will be able to change them in the Training mode

The Pokémon you can find here have got two random stats maxed out and a random nature, Ability and set of moves. They also have a chance of having a Mark and can be Shiny.

Once you have checked the ranch for the available Pokémon, you can recruit the Pokémon in several different ways.

First you can rent a Pokémon. This will allow for you to rent the Pokémon for 7 days to see how it works. You can only do a Trial Recruitment once a day . The Pokémon obtained through Trial Recruitment cannot be edited

You can also permanently recruit a Pokémon. If you have space in your box, you can permanerntly recruit a Pokémon. This will allow for you to edit it to your desires and will cost 1,000 Victory Points, or 1 Quick Ticket to do

As you play through the game and complete Achievements and so forth, you will obtain various tickets such as Type Affinity tickets. These tickets can be used when you refresh the Roster Ranch in order to finetune what Pokémon you will find there, such as making Pokémon of a more specific type or a more specific Poké Ball appear.

These tickets get used after use so you have to choose them carefully with the ranch. They do not guarantee the Pokémon in it.

In addition to the standard ranch roster which goes alongside a Regulation set, there will be periodic Special Rosters that go alongside events and online competitions. These rosters will require special tickets in order to bring Pokémon from them.
