Some further details have been released about the special campaign in Japan that gets you Shaymin, Victini & Keldeo. First, it is confirmed that the Victini you receive here will have the special move, V-Create. Second, several new items able to be purchased in order to collect codes to redeem for serial codes have been revealed. These are Pokémon Vegetable Snack Salad, Pokémon Sprinkles Mini-Pack, Pokémon Curry - Pork & Corn Sweet and the Pokémon Tretta Tretta Power Strength Set & Tretta Speed Strength Set. Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Hidden Demo Missions
Some further Japanese demo distributions have been announced. From November 1st, you'll be able to receive the demo at Amazon Japan, Pokémon Centers & Toys 'R' Us, and it will also be in Weekly Famitsu on November 13th. In addition to that, Amazon have announced a special promotion where if you download the special demo version from Amazon, you will receive a coupon to get 500¥ off the digital version of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - Release Date
Following the news about the Wii U version that has been coming of late, it has been announced that the European launch of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has been pushed forward a week. Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Hidden Demo Missions
Following on from the reveal of the new special mission in the demo yesterday, it has been confirmed by game director Shigeru Ohmori that there are various things that will activate after playing for a while. The Nugget mission, and various changes in Mossdeep City such as access to Steven Stone's house, started appearing for players around 2 weeks from the initial playthrough. We're still working on confirmations of specifics for the times so keep checking back.

Pokémon X & Y - Sejun Park Pachirisu Distribution
It has been announced that South Korea will receive a world first distribution of a Pokémon to X & Y games. This distribution is of the Pachirisu that 2014 World Champion Sejun Park used to get to victory. This distribution is via InfaRed at the Champions Day celebrationDongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul on November 15th & November 16th. This event comes at Level 50 with the moves Nuzzle, Super Fang, Follow Me & Protect, ability of Volt Absorb and holding a Sitrus Berry. Full details of this distribution are not yet known, nor is it known if the event will go global. We'll bring more as it comes

Following the release of the Version 1.3 patch last night, one of the small features that have been added has been confirmed. In addition to various bugfixes, such as a fix regarding Vivillon's image not properly appearing in Friend Safari's menus, the patch now fixes various special animations for when PokéBalls open on trying to capture a Pokémon or sending one in battle. Previously, these animations could be seen in battle, but not when you sent out your first Pokémon. Now, these will always appear when they are your first Pokémon sent in battle

This set features the majority of cards from the Japanese Phantom Gate set and its associated Aegislash & Dialga half deck. As such, I have added them to the database . It has been announced that a special Dual Pack is coming to North America. Exclusive to Best Buy and Amazon, this pack contains both Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and comes with a special serial code, two codes for 100 Potions each, mirroring a release coming in Japan. It's marketed at $79.98 and will be released on November 21st.

Pokémon X & Y - Diancie Event
For those of you in North America, the Diancie distribution event has begun. This event runs until November 16th 2014 and gives you a special Diancie, which cannot be found in normal gameplay. This event is a Serial Code event and requires going to a store in order to receive the code, which is then redeemed in Mystery Gift. If you are in the United States, you can get this code in Gamestop. If you are in Canada, you can get it from participating EB Games stores. If you are in Mexico, it can be received from GamePlanet.

It has been announced that the upcoming movie, Diancie & The Cocoon of Destruction is to air in Canada on November 9th 2014 on Teletoon. This movie is set for DVD release next year and features the debut of the Pokémon Diancie and its Mega Evolution. It is also set to air in cinemas across Australia on November 8th. This special 500¥ card is available only to people who purchase the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire download cards at Tsutaya stores from October 29th 2014 to November 30th 2014. This download card has got an image of 30 Pokémon as if they were a box and the value is equal to that of a Pokémon Bank subscription, allowing for users to easily pay for that service.

Folowing its reveal in National Geographic for Kids two weeks ago, the Camp Pokémo App is now available in the US, and in Europe under the title Pokémon Camp, for free. This app is designed for kids aged 6 to 8 to associate themselves with Pokémon through six different activities. Poké Ball Throw where you throw Poké Balls at Pokémon. Find the Pokémon where you identify Pokémon. Editing of photos to include Pokémon in Photo Booth and various quizzes. You can track your progress through Pokémon Camp by earning pins for completing various activities, then check out the pins you’ve collected in your Pin Book. There are over 100 pins to collect. You’ll also collect stickers, which you can use to decorate photos you take with the iPhone or iPad camera. By completing activities, campers can earn Rewards that are added to the Pin Book and unlock new levels in many of the activities around the island. Details have been added to our Apps section

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - US Demo Distribution
Today, The Pokémon Company International officially revealed Mega Steelix and Mega Glalie and, in doing so, confirmed that for US trainers, Mega Glalie will be the Pokémon obtainable by players and able to send to the main games making it available to North America, Europe and Korea while Japan gets Mega Steelix. The US Demo will be distributed from tomorrow through the Pokémon Trainer Club Newsletter, which can be signed up for on the official site, but you need to sign up today so be sure to make sure you have signed up for it.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Campaign
Details have been posted on the official site about a scheme called Pokémon Scrap in Japan. With this, from November 1st you can start collecting clippings which can give you codes to redeem on the campaign site from December 1st to get serial codes for various items in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. While most of these are simply items, such as Nugget, Super Potion, Luxury Balls, Rare Candy & finally a Master Ball, three Mythical Pokémon are also obtained through this method. Shaymin, Keldeo & Victini are obtained this way.
This campaign runs in Japan until April 30th 2015. The clippings can be obtained in various merchandise including booster packs for the upcoming TCG set, Gaia Volcano & Tidal Storm, in Pokemon Sandwich packs (Omega Ruby Strawberry Jam/Alpha Sapphire Tuna Bread flavours) and in Pokémon 3D Pencil Cases with more to be announced. There are 50 Pokémon Scrap cards to obtain. Shaymin needs 1, Nugget needs 3, Super Potion needs 5, Keldeo needs 7, Luxuy Ball needs 10, Rare Candy needs 13, Victini needs 16 and finally, to get a Master Ball, you need 20

As many know, Japan has received the New Nintendo 3DS recently and this console has got a feature where you can change the faceplates on it to showcase your own likes. Today, the first Pokémon related faceplates were revealed featuring Primal Groudon & Primal Kyogre. This faceplate set is due for release in Japan on November 21st for 1500¥.

Registration for the next Battle Competition has begun. This battle competition is the Trick-or-Treat Friendly and is open Internationally. This tournament is a Single Battle competition that requires you to use Ghost-type Pokémon only, and requires you to have a Super-Size Gourgeist in your Battle Box. Registration runs from October 16th until October 23rd while the competition runs from October 24th until October 26 2014. All participants will receive 5 Rare Candies

Hidden away in the news release yesterday, a new pair of code events were announced in Japan. On November 22nd, inside the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Complete Story Guide, there will be 3 QR Codes of the Secret Bases of various developers to scan to gain access to their base in-game. Secondly, on December 5th, within the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Complete National Pokédex Guide, there will be a special unique serial code that gives you access to 2 Master Balls. Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire - Global Link
Following the reveal of the Pokémon Global Link features yesterday, such as the XY League and ORAS League, it has been confirmed that the entire Pokémon Global Link will go under maintenance from November 13th 2014 to November 21st 2014 in order to prepare for the new features. As a reminder, the Pokémon Global Link will include features for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire including the ability to share your Secret Base, photos from the Pokémon Contest and more.

Pokémon X & Y - Mega Gengar Event
For those of you in Europe & Australia, the Shiny Mega Gengar distribution event has begun. This event runs until November 4th 2014 and gives you a special shiny Gengar which knows the special move Sludge Wave and holds a Gengarite. This event is a Serial Code event and requires going to a store in order to receive the code, which is then redeemed in Mystery Gift. If you are in the United Kingdom, you can get this code in GAME. If you are in Australia/New Zealand, you can get it from participating EB Games, JB Hi-Fi, Target and Big W stores. If you are in Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Finbland, it can be received from Gamestop though some stores may receive the codes later than today

The first details from the Pokémon ORAS demo have come in and have revealed Mega Steelix. We're still working on getting details so please stand by. Mega Glalie is also in the demo. Mega Steelix gets the Sand Force ability

Demo:
During the demo, you start off by going to an island where Team Aqua and Magma are hunting for a specific Pokémon. This Pokémon is Glalie or Steelix depending on where your game is from. Steelix in Japan, Glalie in Europe and Korea. After that, you can play the demo multiple times to get more things. This takes you to several islands where you have certain tasks. At the end, you will either get more people in Mossdeep City or items to send to Pokémon ORAS on its release. For example, after three plays, you can get PokéBalls to send to Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and Heal Balls on the fifth.
00:31: There are five island layouts upon which you can visit, each with random Pokémon. The task for each island changes from finding Pokémon to battling various trainers or battling one Elder trainer.
00:42: Heart Scales can also be transferred
00:53: Gifts seem to stop after the 10th playthrough where you battled against an Elder who has Sceptile, Blaziken, Swampert and Hariyama. You get Heart Scales at the end

In this league, you can use only Pokémon that you can catch during regular gameplay, hatch from an Egg, obtain within the game, or that were officially gifted in either Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. In the XY League, ou can battle using Pokémon X or Pokémon Y. You can use any Pokémon you caught in those games, as well as any Pokémon brought to your game using the Nintendo 3DS downloadable software Poké Transporter.
The special battle rules for Season 7, the first season following the release of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, have been decided! All battles will be Double Battles, and will feature Pokémon listed in the Hoenn Regional Pokédex in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (some Pokémon excluded)!
The DexNav in the PokéNav Plus has a search level as you find Pokémon. As this Level increases, you can find Pokémon with Hidden Abilities & Rare moves. You can even mark Pokémon in the area that you have seen and haven't seen.
In the AreaNav, there is also tracking of Pokémon locations, as well as the return of the Trainer's Eyes and the ability to keep track of Secret Bases and Berries
Buzz Nav has information such as television shows, and you can even receive information for it with StreetPass
The PlayNav retains all features of the PSS, Super Training and Pokémon Amie

Following the reveal of the US & Canadian Demo above, where it'll be distributed in the October 21st Pokémon Trainer Club, we also have clarifications for the UK demo. First, from tomorrow, the site Nintendo Life will have a special area to obtain a demo code. In addition to that, pre-orders at Amazon, ShopTo or the Nintendo UK store will potentially receive a demo. Also, if you bought Pokémon X & Y at Amazon, ShopTo, Smyths or the Nintendo UK store, you may receive a demo. Finally, at MCM Expo from October 24th to 26th, there will be a booth where the demo will be distributed.

Pokémon X & Y - Serial Code Maintenance
Details of the maintenance period which was announced in August have been released. During this maintenance, you will be unable to redeem any gifts using Mystery Gift through Serial Code. This maintenance lasts just two days and, while we don't have speicfic times that it will be out, we have the days. In the US & Canada, it will be down on November 3rd and November 4th, in the UK, it will be down on November 4th to November 5th and in Europe it'll be down from November 4th to November 6th. We'll provide more details on this as they come. It's also confirmed that demo codes have to be redeemed by May 31st 2015

Following the reveal of the Demos globally over the past couple of weeks, the latest addition to the list is Spain. The retail store GAME has announced that their Spanish branch shall be distributing the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo. We got word of this on Friday, but today they have announced that, like the UK, people can go to GAME and get the demo using the Nintendo Zone that is in stores from this Wednesday. It is limited to 20,000 codes received through this method so they shall go fast. It is also being distributed through the Official Nintendo Magazine in Spain right now.

Yesterday evening, an error arose on the forum sever's hard drive which could not be recovered. At the moment, the forum is down as we try to recover everything and get it all operational once again. We're hoping that this won't take too much longer, but until then it means the forums are out of action. It has been confirmed in the National Geographic for Kids Magazine that a brand new app is soon to come to iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch. This app is called Camp Pokémon and features a variety of small features akin to that on the official Pokémon site. This app contains a varierty of mini-games and quizzes pertaining to Pokémon such as Pokémon Evolution, Battle Match Ups and PokéBall Throw. It's not known when this app will go live, and its associated website is not currently running but we'll let you know when it is

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire- CoroCoro Reveals
The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. While pictures have yet to be posted, the information that has come out is set to reveal Mega Latios, Mega Latias as well as two brand new Megas, Mega Pidgeot and Beedrill. Images of these specific parts of CoroCoro are yet to come, so it's technically unconfirmed, but the leakers have shown other parts of CoroCoro giving credence to this. We'll bring more, and pics, as they come so keep checking back.
Edit @ 09:45: Mega Pidgeot is Normal/Flying-type with the ability No Guard and Mega Beedrill is Bug/Poison-type with the ability Adaptability. You can fly on Mega Latios & Latias in the overworld and find Pokémon such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga & Palkia in the sky. Latios is exclusive to Omega Ruby and Latias is exclusive to Alpha Sapphire.

It has four settings: MapNavi, TVNavi, PlayNavi which includes features like Pokémon Amie and the GTS and DexNavi which helps you find Pokémon in the wild and register them in your Pokédex. You can sneak up on Pokémon, or you can register Pokémon that you encounter in the overworld into your Pokédex. We'll bring more as it comes

The details for the Shiny Gengar distribution in Canada have been revealed. The Gengar is a shiny Gengar and comes holding the Gengarite item. This event matches the one in Japan last month as well as the one running in the USA and Europe this month. This distribution will run from October 13th 2014 to October 26th 2014 in participating EBGames stores across Canada where you'll receive a Serial Code to download the special Gengar, mirroring the distribution time of the United States. As reported last month, Japan is getting some special New Nintendo 3DS bundles based on Groudon and Kyogre to tie in with Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. These special New 3DS models also come with a download code to obtain a special new theme for Groudon or Kyogre depending on the version. We now have the first images of the special Home Menus, showing that they fully match the felt look of the faceplates on the 3DS models. It is currently unclear if these will be on sale afterwards or if they'll make it to the west, but we'll bring more as it comes. Click the below image for a larger version.

As we have been reporting over the past few weeks, various countries around the world have been providing details for the distribution of the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo codes. It is now discovered that Nintendo of Finland, Denmark and Sweden, who ran the distribution via a special sign-up page on the official site, have run out of the codes as they were of limited supply. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - Release Date

Continuing the global revelation of dates for the distribution of the upcoming Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demo, a second distribution for Japan has been announced. As well as being distributed in the issue of CoroCoro which is out in Japan on October 15th, the special unique code to get the demo has been confirmed to also be in the December issue of Chao Magazine which is due for release on November 1st in Japan. We'll bring details of the demo as soon as we get our hands on it

It was found buried in the ground. Ancient people believed that petitioning Bronzong for rain was the way to make crops grow. It brought rains by opening portals to another world. It was revered as a bringer of plentiful harvests. So here it is, the fourty-ninth entry, Bronzong.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
Various events that are being held across Europe have begun and some of them have started giving out the codes for the Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire demos. We now have complete confirmation from Switzerland, where codes are currently being distributed at the Swiss Toy Fair, that all demo codes will not be redeemable on the Nintendo eShop until October 15th. Currently, only The Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia and South Africa are listed as receiving the demo before the October 15th 2014 date. It's not currently clear at what time the demo codes will be able to be redeemed, but we'll bring full details as and when we can

Following the recent news that has come out regarding Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, I have recently been working on various upgrades to the Game Mechanic sections including tweaks to the IV Calculator, and updates to the AbilityDex, Weather Effects page among others. These sections will continually be updated with new mechanics and details as we get them.

Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
The livestream for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Sapphire has been airing and has revealed some new footage will be interspersed with their playthrough of Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire. We'll be posting everything that is noteworthy. It started off showing the two trainers meeting upstairs. We'll bring more as it comes so keep checking back.
Edit @ 12:16: So far, aside from the footage at the beginning, the footage shown is that which has been contained in previous trailers including meeting Roxanne in Rustboro City Gym, taking the boat from Petalburg to Dewford Town, and Team Aqua in the Oceanic Museum.
Edit @ 16:02: Mega Rayquaza has been revealed. It has a new ability called Delta Stream which creates a new weather effect that removes weather and makes moves of a type that Flying-type Pokémon are usually weak to will only deal normal damage to any Flying-type Pokémon in the battle. It lasts as long as Rayquaza is in battle

Seeking ever more of that energy for themselves, the two clashed again and again, and their battles cast the people and Pokémon of Hoenn into great danger. Brimming with the overwhelming power granted by the energy of nature, this transformation was named by later people "Primal Reversion." And the people called their tormentors Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.
One Pokémon looked down upon this battle from the sky above. The Pokémon that dances in the heavens: Rayquaza. Rayquaza is venerated by the people of Hoenn as their protector and savior. When Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre had battled for 20 dawns and 20 nights, the world began to lose its natural balance and tilt toward destruction. The people, unable to endure any more, cried out to their mighty savior Rayquaza before a great stone that shone with rainbow brilliance. Registration for the next Battle Competition has begun. This battle competition is the Hoenn Pokémon NicoNico Match and is just for Japan. This tournament is a Double Battle competition that requires you to use Pokémon that are numbered in the National Pokédex between 252 and 384, but only allowing one of the following: Kyogre, Groudon or Rayquaza. Pokémon are lowered to Level 25 for the duration. Registration runs from October 2nd until October 10th while the competition runs from October 10th until October 14th 2014. All participants will receive the 2525 PokéMiles as a present

For those of you in North America, a new event is running online this October. This event is a Super Size Pumpkaboo holding a Rocky Helmet and the moves Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face. As this Pumpkaboo is Super Size, it is very useful in the upcoming Trick-or-Treat Battle Competition where you are required to use Super Size Gourgeist. This event is running from today until October 31st so be sure to download it while you can.

Ahead of the stream tomorrow, Nintendo Japan put out a press release giving some details of the stream, which runs for 7 hours from 18:00 JST to 01:00 JST. This stream will mostly be a playthrough of various aspects of the original Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, but it has been announced that, at around 00:00 JST on October 3rd, in the final hour of the steam, some new and surprising information about Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire will be revealed. This will be 16:00 BST, 17:00 CEST, 11:00 EDT and 08:00 PDT. We'll provide details as soon as they come so keep checking back

In South Korea, you'll be able to download the demo from October 18th at various emart, Home plus & LotteMart stores across South Korea. Pokémon RS - iTunes Release
It has been confirmed that more anime episodes are to be added to iTunes in the US and Europe. These episodes encompass the series based on Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire and is under the moniker, Pokémon the Series: Ruby & Sapphire. At the moment, Pokémon Advanced is available for purchase, but the rest of the series will come out soon. Pokémon: Advanced Challenge, will arrive October 13; Pokémon: Advanced Battle, will arrive October 27; and Pokémon: Battle Frontier, will arrive November 10.

Pokémon XY - Episode Titles
Following the reveal of the titles on Sunday, the CharePaffe magazine in Japan has released an image that shows that the episodes are to be rescheduled to accomodate the airing of the episode, The Castle on the Seabed! Skrelp & Dragalge!!, on November 20th. As such, the following episode Hawlucha & Dark Hawlucha!! is likely to air on November 27th while the next episode, Ninja Art Showdown! Frogadier VS Barbarcle!!, is to air on December 11th, implying that there may be a 1 week break on December 4th. We'll bring more as it comes
