After coming in 8th position in the Johto League, Ash decided to head to where Hazuki has said there are more challenges and many new Pokémon. Leaving all Pokémon but Pikachu he heads to Hoenn and meets up with a 10 Year Old Girl, May, who is just starting her own Pokémon Journey, not for the Pokémon but for the travelling, but instead of battling Gyms like Ash, she decides to join into Pokémon Contest...May's brother Max also joins in. He has no Pokémon but he helps the group out with his vast Pokémon Knowledge and his trusty PokéNav. When Brock returns the group is complete and all have different tasks and Different Pokémon to boot
