The end date for the currently running Wild Area event has been given. The event has two end dates. First, the inclusion of Gigantamax Alcremie is set to end on January 30th at 23:59 UTC. After that, the rest of the Gigantamax Pokémon will remain in the event until February 6th at 23:59 UTC Click the image for full details of the event

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the first wave of live events for Pokémon GO for the first half of the year. These events culminate the recent #NianticLive2020 campaign where people put in suggestions for locations for GO events. These events are as follows:
Taiwan Lantern Festival - Taichung, Taiwan - February 6th - February 9th 2020
Pokémon GO Safari Zone St. Louis - Tower Grove Park, St. Louis, US, - March 27th - March 29th 2020. Tickets available from January 24th at 14:00 UTC. General admission tickets will be $12, and early access tickets will be $18.
Pokémon GO Safari Zone Liverpool - Sefton Park, Liverpool, UK, - April 17th - 19th 2020. Tickets available from January 31st at 08:00 UTC. General admission tickets will be Ł12, and early access tickets will be Ł18
Pokémon GO Safari Zone Philadelphia - Philadelphia, US, - May 8th - May 10th 2020. Ticket details coming soon. General admission tickets will be $12, and early access tickets will be $18.

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO Community Day on February 22nd but this comes with a twist. On February 1st, you'll be able to vote for the Pokémon you wish by completing unique Field Research that will appear on every PokéStop throughout February 1st. The winner will be the option that had the most research completed and will then be announced on February 3rd. The options are as follows:
Vulpix - Kantonian Vulpix will be in wild and Eggs while Alolan Vulpix will be in Raids and Research Rewards. Ninetales will get the attack Weather Ball upon evolution. Shiny Kantonian Vulpix will be available
Machop - Machop will appear in the wild, Eggs and Raids. Evolve Machoke into Machamp to get the move Payback
Rhyhorn - Rhyhorn will appear in the wild, Eggs and Raids. Evolve Rhydon into Rhyperior to get the move Rock Wrecker. Shiny Rhydon will then be available
Dratini - Dratini will appear in the wild, Eggs and Raids. Evolve Dragonair into Dragonite to get the move Superpower

The Community Day runs at 11am to 2pm in each local time zone in the Northern Hemisphere and 3pm to 6pm in the Southern Hemisphere

Pokémon GO
A new version of Pokémon GO is starting to roll out on Android, with a full rollout across Android and iOS expected in the next week. This update brings the game to Version 0.165 and includes a variety of fixes. It also adds various features including adding a shadow to the player character

A new Sync Pair Scout banner that increases the chance of getting the Sync Pair, Leaf & Eevee is now live, being available until February 5th.
With this, Pryce has also had the Sync Grid activated

Pokémon Rumble Rush
The new event has started in Pokémon Rumble Rush. This event, Sylveon & the Eco Guardian, is focused on an island based around Zygarde and contains various new Pokémon, new Gears and more. It runs for two weeks, until February 5th. As such, we're currently compiling everything about this new event and so this update and our Rumble Rush section will be updated with details over the coming days
