On Pokémon Day as celebration, for a limited time the Pokémon Sound Library website was updated to include special tracks from Pokémon Red & Blue, allowing you to listen to them, as well as download the music for your own library and use. They also uploaded a 7 hour loop of Jigglypuff's song onto YouTube

To commemorate Pokémon Day, The Pokémon Company International set up a website asking for fans to post photos of their history with the Pokémon franchise using the hashtag #PokemonTogether on all social media platforms. These pictures would then be used to create a mosaic released on Pokémon Day
