To commemorate Pokémon Day and the release of Pokémon Horizons in the US, a special celebration is running at the Empire State Building in New York. From sunset until 2am, the Empire State Building will be lit up with the Blue and Yellow colours from the Pokémon logo and special streams will run on the Empire State Building's social media platforms featuring Pokémon, including an appearance by Captain Pikachu. A special Pokémon GO local event was held around the Empire State Building with unique PokéStops and Timed Research. Unown was also spawning from Lure Modules.
