To celebrate both Pokémon Day and Pokémon Masters' 1.5 Anniversary, the first Galar Sync Pair was announced for the game, releasing just after Pokémon Day. This added Leon & Charizard into the game

When the Pokémon 25 details were announced, a new campaign to last through 2021 was announced; P25 Music. This features a collection of songs from various artists themed around Pokémon

A special Pokémon Day Max Raid Event was held in Pokémon Sword & Shield. This event featured the inclusion of Gigantamax Pikachu with its Shiny Variant available. If enough people defeated Pikachu, all players would receive Armorite Ore and Dynite Ore.

To commemorate the start of P25 Music for Pokémon's 25th anniversary, a special distribution of Pikachu was given with the code P25MUS1C. It had musical featured moves including Sing, Encore and Celebrate

A special event was held over Pokémon Day. This event featured increased spawns of Kanto Pokémon and carried over the ability to complete Collection Challenges that were released in the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event a week before.

A Kanto Raid Day event was also held allowing players to get Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres
