First to 500 Mode

The First to 500 Mode is a new mode introduced in February 2025 that changes the way that Pokémon UNITE is played. Rather than running to a timer, this mode has players battle until the first team gets 500 Points. This allows for different strategies to unfold

As your team gets more points, you can unlock special Aeos Technology. For each milestone, you can pick one of several Aeos Technology that will run either once or passively for the rest of the game

Battle Recovery 100% of max HP restored for defeating wild Pokémon 100 Team Points
True Sight Field of vision widens. Stealthed opponents are visible every 10s 100 Team Points
Energy Shield For every 1 Aeos Energy you collect, gain a shield effect of 1% max HP (max 35%) 100 Team Points
Energy Clash +25% damage to opponents that have less energy than you. 100 Team Points

Zapdos Zapdos 20 Points 8 minutes - reappears every 30 seconds
After defeating, it will advance towards one of the opposing team's goals. When it reaches, it will charge for a set time and make the goal zone defenseless. This can be interrupted if affected by a hinrance or its shield is destroyed
