Stunfisk, The Trap Pokémon. Living in mud with a high iron content has given it a strong steel body. Its conspicuous lips lure prey in as it lies in wait in the mud. When prey gets close, Stunfisk clamps its jagged steel fins down on them.
Overview
A Galarian form I don't think a lot of people saw coming, Galarian Stunfisk is a pesky Pokemon with solid defensive stats and typing but held back by its lack of a recovery. Its further hindered by its ability Mimicry which could be a unique gimmick once the Tapus are rereleased, but as of now its less than useful. However, Galarian Stunfisk does have positives, mainly being a fantastic Stealth Rock setter due to Yawn forcing out Defog users, making the opponent choose in playing 5 vs 6 or let Stealth Rock go up. In the end though you're still working with Stunfisk so don't expect the most meta-defining Pokemon out of this thing.
Positives
-Access to Yawn allows Galarian Stunfisk to force switches easily and can create space for a stronger teammate to get in or set up hazards unopposed.
-Steel/Ground is a strong defensive typing giving resistance to some common threats such as Grimmsnarl, Snorlax, Tyranitar, and Toxtricity.
Negatives
-Lack of a recovery means Galarian Stunfisk is easily worn down by hazards or just repeated switching in doing its job.
-Mimicry is a neat idea and if Galarian Stunfisk kept its Steel typing it would be better but overall losing Steel/Ground typing to gain Electric, Grass, Psychic, or Fairy isn't worth it.

Careful Nature
With Yawn to inflict status and Stealth Rock for pressure all game, Galarain Stunfisk is a nice option on most slower paced teams. Yawn is a nice option as it allows frail Pokemon to capitalize off Stunfisk that would normally struggle for a way onto the field. Protect allows Stunfisk to get some recovery going with Leftovers the same way defensive Heatran and Swampert have done in the past, while Earthquake makes sure you aren't Taunt fodder.
Stunfisk wants to be as bulky as possible so that it can set Stealth Rock multiple times if necessary, with an emphasis on Special Defense to switch into Fairy-types more easily. Stunfisk needs Leftovers to have any form of recovery, and Mimicry is the only ability option so there's unfortunately not much choice there.
Partners
-Wallbreakers - Powerful wallbreakers like Hydreigon and Dracovish enjoy having a reliable Stealth Rock setter to chip away at threats to health. This helps them further build pressure by forcing switches and wearing down the opposing team with their damage and Stealth Rock chip.
Countering Stunfisk
-Mandibuzz - Mandibuzz with Taunt can easily force out Stunfisk as it's faster and Stunfisk lacks the ability to do anything to it without Yawn, but Mandibuzz can't do much in return either.
-Dragapult - While not wanting to take Yawn, if Dragpault can get in for free and sub, Stunfisk can't do much to stop it.
