Unlock Level: Level 3 This path requires some work to get and must be activated each time you play. When you go through the Undersea Cave in Level 3, as you go down the big hole deep into the water, you'll see a Lanturn. Use an Illumina Orb on it and it will move down, being chased by a Sharpedo. It'll then get grabbed by two Frillish after the Wailord swims up. Free it with an Illumina Orb and it'll lead you to a cave at the bottom of the sea, where Lugia can be found |  |

Corsola can be found at the start of the stage by a Crystablooms. If you activate the Crystablooms, it will start dancing and attract lots of Pokémon around. In Level 3, another can be found on the other side of the reef asleep with two Luvdisc in its sticks. |

Lumineon can be found in numerous parts of the stage. In the standard path, it will be amongst the seaweed, with one sleeping on top of a Crystablooms. Clawitzer | |
 |
Clawitzer has got multiple different appearances in the stage. In Research Level 2, it appears early in, scaring all the schools of Pokémon at the start of the stage before heading to a rock for the alternate path. Hit it with an Illumina Orb and it'll break the rocks to open the path. Later on there will be Clawitzer in the main cave of the stage. In Level 2, two Clawitzer will be found firing their cannons at eachother. In Level 3, you'll be able to use the Illumina Orb to get Clawitzer to speed through the stage to the cave. When there, it'll face off against the Qwilfish. If you throw an Illumina Orb at it, it will fire and knock the Qwilfish back. Do this four times to free the Luvdisc. Attacking the Weilfish is a 3 Star encounter and victory is a 4 star one |

If you Illumina Orb it, it'll swim down further until it gets trapped by two Frillish. Free it and it'll go down again and lead you to Lugia's Den. In this path, Lanturn will be asleep on the floor |

Clamperl can be found partially underground in the Undersea Cave. It can be released by luring Lumineon over to it where it'll pull it up. It'll then be seen swimming afterwards |

Golisopod can be found in the ancient ruins in the Undersea Cave. They will be slow moving but will react to eachother. If you activate Lugia's roar, you will see Golisopod react to it. If you feed it a Fluffruit and get it scratching its whiskers, yuou can get a 3 Star photo. Lure the final one to a rock pillar using Fluffruit and watch as it slices the rock for a 4 star photo |

Starmie | |
 |
Starmie is found in the Undersea Cave having a battle with Tentacruel. As you go through the Underground Cave, hit the Inkay with an Illumina Orb to get it to zoom off. It will use Hypnosis on Tentacruel and stop the fight with Starmie. Use Scan and it will cause Starmie to use a new attack for a 4 Star photo. After Tentacruel attacks, it swims away. Another can be uncovered by Lumineon on the ground. If one or more are, then they will end up near the Crystabloom later in the stage. If you light the Crystabloom with them in front, then you will get a 4 star photo |

You need to use an Illumina Orb on a Lanturn when going down the underwater element. Then, free it from two Frillish and it'll take you down a path where Lugia is asleep. You can awaken it by activating both Crystablooms above and next to it. Afterwards, it will be swimming around at the end of the stage but, if you hit a Crystablooms, it will spin giving a 3 Star photo opportunity and, if you hit it with a Fluffruit and then an Illumina Orb when it's over the pedestal, that's a 4 star opportunity and it will swim away |
