Like with previous Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, there are a myriad of different items that can be found in all the dungeons. These can be found on the floor or as rewards for rescuing Pokémon or completing certain missions given by various Pokémon |
Clothing
These items are ones that can be equipped to your Pokémon in order to receive a variety of effects

Explosive Band | When equipped, it sometimes explodes when the wearer takes damage. It damages nearby Pokémon and makes items on the floor disappear. The wearer doesn't get Exp. Points if an enemy faints due to damage caused by the blast | |
Fickle Specs | When equipped, it boosts the cricial-hit rate when using a different move than the turn before | |
Fierce Bandanna | When this item is equipped, the power of moves is greatly increased. | |
Friend Bow | When this item is equipped, Pokémon you battle will be more likely to join you. It's also said that Shiny Pokémon will want to join you, too. It's only effective when the leader equips it, though. | |
Goggle Specs | When this item is equipped, traps that have been set on the floor become visible. | |
Heal Ribbon | When this item is equipped, it speeds up the wearer's natural HP recovery | |
Heavy Rotation Specs | When this item is equipped, they boost the critical-hit rate when using the same move as the turn before. | |
Insomniscope | When this item is equipped, it prevents the wearer from getting the Sleep, yawning or Nightmare condition. | |
Joy Ribbon | When this item is equipped, the wearer can earn Exp. Points as turns go by, even if the Pokémon doesn't battle | |
Lock-On Specs | When this item is equipped, the wearer's thrown items will never miss. | |
Lucky Ribbon | When this item is equipped, it prevents the wearer from taking critical hits. | |
Mach Ribbon | When this item is equipped, it boosts the wearer's Speed | |
Mobile Scarf | When this item is equipped, it enables the wearer to move through walls, across the water, and to other places that normally can't be reached. But be careful! The Pokémon's belly will empty while travelling through walls. | |
Munch Belt | When this item is equipped, it boosts the wearer's Attack and Sp. Atk, but it also makes their Belly empty more quickly. | |
No-Stick Cap | If the leader equips it, it prevents items in your Bag from getting sticky as a result of traps or other means. | |
Nullify Bandanna | When this item is equipped, it prevents the wearer's Ability from working. | |
Pass Scarf | When this item is equipped, it enables the wearer to shrug off moves and pass them onto a nearby Pokémon. But the wearer's Belly gets emptier every time this happens. If the Pokémon's Belly gets too empty, this effect won't work. | |
Pecha Scarf | When this item is equipped, it prevents the wearer from getting Poisoned or Badly Poisoned. | |
Persim Band | When this item is equipped, it prevents the wearer from getting Confused. | |
Phase Ribbon | When this item is equipped, the wearer can ignore the topography and walk anywhere. They can even break through most walls, but doing so will make their Belly less full. When their Belly reaches 0, they won't be able to break through any more walls. There are also some walls that can't be broken | |
Pierce Band | When this item is equipped, thrown items that fly in a straight line will pass through walls and Pokémon. | |
Power Band | When this item is equipped, it boosts the wearer's Attack, increasing the power of physical moves | |
Prosper Ribbon | When this item is equipped, it heals the wearer's bad statuses, like being poisoned or paralyzed, if the wearer picks up money. It also slightly restores the wearer's HP | |
Recovery Scarf | When this item is equipped, the user recovers more quickly from bad statuses like being confused or paralyzed | |
Reunion Cape | When this item is equipped, it warps you near your teammates if you get separated from them. | |
Scope Lens | When this item is equipped, it boosts the wearer's critical-hit rate for moves used on enemies | |
Sneak Scarf | When this item is equipped, the wearer will be able to walk next to a sleeping enemy without waking them up. | |
Special Band | When this item is equipped, it boosts the wearer's Sp. Atk, increasing the power of special moves! | |
Stamina Band | When this item is equipped, the wearer's Belly empties more slowly. | |
Tight Belt | When this item is equipped, the wearer's Belly won't empty unless they pass through walls or use linked moves. | |
Trap Scarf | When this item is equipped, traps the wearer steps on won't go off. | |
Twist Band | When this item is equipped, it prevents all the wearer's stats from being lowered | |
Warp Scarf | When this item is equipped, it sometimes warps the wearer somewhere on the floor | |
Weather Band | When this item is equipped, it shields the wearer from weather as if it's always Clear | |
X-Ray Specs | When this item is equipped, the locations of items and Pokémon (but not traps) on the floow become visible | |
Zinc Band | When this item is equipped, it boosts the wearer's Sp. Def, reducing the damage taken from special moves. |
Food
These items are ones that are used in order to feed your Pokémon. Some of these items have got additional effects including recovery of Hit Points and from status conditions

Grimy Food | Eating this fills your belly a bit, but it will give you a bad status | |
Oran Berry | Eating it restores HP. Additionally it increases your max HP only during that adventure. If your max HP is 100 or more, your max HP won't increase unless you eat this seed when your HP is full | |
Pecha Berry | Eating it heals your Poisoned or Badly Poisoned condition | |
Perfect Apple | Eating this fills your Belly completely, and it increases your Belly's capacity by a lot during that adventure. | |
Rawst Berry | Eating it heals your Burn | |
Sitrus Berry | Eating it when your HP is full will slightly increase your max HP. The effect is permanent. But if your HP isn't full when you eat it, it will just restore your HP | |
Tiny Apple | Eating this fills your Belly a little tiny bit. If you eat it when you Belly is full, it increases your Belly's cappacity ever so slightly during that adventure. |
Orb
These items are ones that can be activated at any time during a dungeon and provide a variety of effects, typically affecting the wider area

All Power-Up Orb | Using it sharply boosts the Attack and Special Attack of all your teammates. The effect continues while you're on the floor you used the orb on | |
All Protect orb | It gives all your teammates the Protect condition, which protects them from enemies attacks for a while. The more team members you have, the longer the Protect condition lasts. | |
Bank Orb | Using it gives you access to Felicity Bank in a dungeon | |
Cleanse Orb | Using it cleans sticky, gunked up items in your Bag so you can use them. | |
Decoy Orb | Using it makes you a Decoy for a while. Use it when you want to distract enemies | |
Drought Orb | Using it causes all the water or magma on the floor to dry up, making it possible to walk where the water or magma once was. | |
Escape Orb | Using it lets you out of the dungeon. You'll feel a lot safer if you have one. But be careful-it has no effect in some places | |
Evasion Orb | Using it boosts the user's evasiveness greatly. The effect continues while you're on the floor you used the orb on. | |
Foe-Hold Orb | Using it makes all enemies on the floor Petrified. The effect continues until they take damage | |
Foe-Seal Orb | Using it makes all enemies in the same room Lethargic and unable to do anything. | |
Hail Orb | Using it changes the weather on the floor to Hail. | |
Health Orb | Using it heals your team's bad statuses and resets their lowered stats. Additionally, your team will also become Healthy | |
Helper Orb | Use it and another rescue team will come to help you. They will only help you on the floor you used the orb on. | |
Inviting Orb | Using it makes it eaasier to befriend Pokémon you battled. The effect continues while you're on the floor you used the orb on. | |
Lasso Orb | Using it gathers all enemies in the same room into one place and makes them get Stuck for a while. | |
Luminous Orb | Using it reveals the entire floor. You'll be able to tell the locations of stairs, enemies, and items. | |
Mobile Orb | Using it gives your team the Mobile condition, making them able to walk anywhere on the floor you used the orb on | |
Monster Orb | Using it changes the room to a Monster House. But it has no effect on a floor that already has a Monster House or a Shop | |
Nullify Orb | Using it nullifies the Abilities of all enemies on the entire floor. | |
One-Room Orb | Using it destroys all walls on the floor to turn it into one big room. | |
One-Shot Orb | Using it defeats all enemies in the same room in a single shot. Sometimes it misses but using it in a Monster House is really powerful | |
Petrify Orb | Using it makes enemies in the same room Petrified. This effect continues until they take damage. | |
Quick Orb | Using it boosts the Travel Speed of you and your teammates for a while. Use another and you'll get even faster! | |
Radar Orb | Using it reveals the locations of all Pokémon on the floor. | |
Rainy Orb | Using it changes the weather on the floor to Rain | |
Rare Quality Orb | Using it will make it easier to befriend Pokémon that have a rare quality. The effect continues while you're on the floor you used the orb on. | |
Reset orb | Using it will end the Awakend condition for all enemies and allies on the floor. There are some places where this orb will have no effect. | |
Revive All Orb | Using it revives all your fainted teammates. But once you go to the next floor, you won't be able to revive any teammates except the main one | |
Rollcall Orb | Using it draws all teammates to you | |
Sandy Orb | Using it changes the weather on the floor to a Sandstorm | |
Scanner Orb | Using it reveals the locations of all items on the floor | |
See-Trap Orb | Using it reveals all hidden traps on the floor. | |
Slow Orb | Using it reduces the Travel Speed of all enemies in the same room for a while. | |
Slumber Orb | Using it makes enemies in the same room go to Sleep for a while. | |
Spurn Orb | Using it warps all enemies in the same room to somewhere else on the floor | |
Storage Orb | Using it lets you select items from your Bag and send them to Kangaskhan Storage. | |
Sunny Orb | Using it changes the weather on the floor to Sunny | |
Totter Orb | Using it makes enemies in the same room Confused for a while. | |
Trapbust Orb | Using it destroys all traps on the floor. | |
Trawl Orb | Using it pulls all items on the floor to you. You can't pull items from a shop, though. | |
Weather Lock Orb | Using it creates a Weather Lock, locking the usual Clear weather in place. | |
Wigglytuff Orb | Using it gives you access to Wigglytuff's Camp Corner in a dungeon |
Seed
These items are ones that can be eaten or thrown to get a variety of different effects including stat boosts and more

Ban Seed | Eating it causes the last move that Pokémon used to be Disabled. During that adventure, no enemy or ally will be able to use that move. Only one move can be disabled at a time | |
Blast Seed | Eating it makes you attack 1 tile in front of you with a blast, causing huge damage. You can also throw it to use it, but the power is weaker. | |
Blinker Seed | If you throw it at an enemy and hit them, you can give them the Blinker condition. Be careful not to use it on your teammates | |
Decoy Seed | If you throw it at an enemy and hit them, you can make them Infatuated for a little while, which will make their moves more likely to fail. If this seed is in your Bag, it will be targeted first by Pluck, a Sticky Trap or the like. | |
Doom Seed | If you throw it at an enemy and hit them, you can lower their level by 1. | |
Empowerment Seed | Eating it causes the Pokémon to become Awakened, making them very strong. Triggers Mega Evolution | |
Energy Seed | Eating it restores HP quite a lot. Additionally it increases your max HP only during that adventure. If your max HP is 100 or more, your max HP won't increase unless you eat this seed when your HP is full | |
Eyedrop Seed | Eating it gives you the Eyedrops condition, which enables you to see traps. The effect lasts as long as you are on the floor. It will also cure the Blinker status | |
Heal Seed | Eating it heals many bad statuses such as being poisoned or paralyzed | |
Joy Seed | Eating it raises your level by 1, which makes you very happy | |
Life Seed | Eating it raises your max HP slightly. This effect is permanent | |
Plain Seed | A scrap left over from when you eat a Reviver Seed or a Tiny Reviver Seed. Eating this only fills your Belly a little bit, and there's no other effect | |
Pure Seed | Eating it warps you close to the floor's stairs | |
Quick Seed | Eating it boosts your Travel Speed for a little while. Eating another makes you even faster | |
Reviver Seed | If this item is in your bag, it will revive a fainted Pokémon. Additionally, it helps restore their PP and Belly. It turns into a Plain Seed once it revives a Pokémon | |
Sleep Seed | If you throw it at an enemy and hit them, it can make them Sleep for a little while. | |
Stun Seed | If you throw it at an enemy and hit them, you can make them Petrified. | |

These items are ones that can be used to permanently boost the stats of your Pokémon

Max Elixir | Drinking it completely restores the PP of all your moves. It can also heal the Sealed status | |
