Rescues

As with all Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, in this game you have the ability to, should you lose in a dungeon, to request help. If you don't request help, you will lose all items and money you have on you but if you do, then you'll be able to start again from where you left off with the items and money in tact. This is offered automatically as soon as your Pokémon are knocked out and can be done one of two ways: Internet or Code. When you do, you have to select a reward: Regular, Deluxe or Special which determine the rewards. Players who rescue will get rewards, items and points for their Rescue Team Rank. Requests have a lifespan of a week.

To activate Rescues, you need to go to the Pelipper Post Office either in the Main Menu or in Pokémon Square in the game. Here, you can go rescue other players or check to see if your rescue has been completed.

Internet Rescues

Internet Rescues are a simple version and only accessible to those with a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription. Here, when you go to the Internet option, you will get a board of over 100 different rescue requests to look through. However, you have the ability to filter this.

It can be filtered to search specifically for people on your friend list or through a special ID that their quest has. This ID can be enterred to get any specific request.

Password Rescues

Alternatively, you can get rescued through use of Passwords. This is the only way for players without the Nintendo Switch Online subscription to get rescued. This method has you give out a 30 digit code made up of numbers, letters and backed by symbols to get other players to load your rescue.

When the players complete your rescue, they will get given another password to give back to you for you to enter in order to continue on.
