Following this weekend's special event, the Max Raid Battle Event has reverted back to the prior event. From now until an unspecified date, various early game Pokémon such as Centiskorch, Corviknight and Orbeetle are in Max Raid Battles..

Pokémon GO
Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This event is the Lumionus Legends X event and features an increase in spawns of Dragon & Fairy-type Pokémon, adding Spritzee, Swirlix, Goomy and Xerneas into the game . It runs from May 4th at 10:00 local time to May 17th 20:00 local time
This event features increased spawns of Dratini, Ralts, Bagon, Cottonee, Spritzee, Swirlix, Goomy and more
Cleffa, Igglybuff, Azurill, Gible, Swirlix and Spritzee will be in 7km Eggs
Galarian Ponyta, Alolan Exeggutor, Xerneas and more will be in Raid Battles
The will be a Timed Research giving a Rainy Lure Module and Spritzee & Swirlix, among more rewards
There will be event exclusive Field Research featuring Swilix, Spritzee, Gible and Galarian Ponyta
It introduces the Rainy Lure Module which attracts Water, Bug and Electric-type Pokémon. Sliggoo can evolve when near this Lure Module or when the in-game weather has it as raining
If you evolve Dragonair into Dragonite or use a Charged TM on one during this event, it'll learn the move Draco Meteor. If you evolve Shelgon into Salamence or use a Charged TM on one during this event, it'll learn the move Outrage
There will be a Global Challenge Arena. All trainers can catch up to 500 million Fairy-type Pokémon between May 4th and May 11th to unlock 3* Catch Stardust for the rest of the event, Pancham in raids and shiny Galarian Ponyta
The Luminous Legends Y event will follow this event. It will feature spawns of Dark-type Pokémon, Team GO Rocket activity, Yveltal in raids and Pancham being added to 12km Eggs

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO events for May 2021.
First, the Research Breakthrough Reward has been announced. From May 1st 2021 at 20:00 UTC to June 1st 2021 at 20:00 UTC you'll get a Galarian Ponyta
The 5 Star Raid Battles have been confirmed:
From May 4th 10:00 local time through May 18th 10:00 local time, Xerneaswill be in raids
From May 18th 10:00 local time through June 1st 10:00 local time, Yveltal will be in raids
On May 4th at 10:00 to May 15th at 10:00, Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard Y and Mega Lopunny will be in Mega Raids
On May 15th at 10:00 to June 1st at 10:00, Mega Ampharos, Mega Houndoom and a new Mega Evolved Pokémon will be in Mega Raids
May's Pokémon GO Community Day will take place on Saturday May 15th from 11:00 to 17:00 local time
There will also be Timed Research to get a Super Rocket Radar in the first week of May to tie in with the Luminous Legends X event. This will also change Giovanni to have a Shadow Moltres

Pokémon Masters EX
DeNA have outlined some upcoming changes to Pokémon Masters EX
First Raihan & Duraludon will be added to the game alongside a Time Trial event: Eternal Rivals on Wednesday April 28th
Blissful Bonanza and Battle Villa begin on April 30th
On May 4th, the Legendary Event Father or Foe begins. This Legendary Event focuses on the Sync Pair of Ghetsis and Kyurem
On May 6th, a Special Event will begin called Weather Alert and is split into two phases with the second half being in mid May.
Two new Sync Pairs from Galar will appear in a Solo Event in Mid May
All Sync Pairs will now be able to reach Level 135. To do so you need new items which will be unlocked on April 28th in a new Training Area

Niantic have announced the Spotlight Hours for the month of May. They happen at 6pm to 7pm local time are as follows:
May 4th - Cottonee - 2* Catch Candy
May 11th - Dratini - 2* Transfer Candy
May 18th- Alolan Rattata - 2* Evolution Experience
May 25th - Marill - 2* Catch stardust

The next Spotlight Scout has been begun in Pokémon Masters EX. This scout increases the chances of getting the Sync Pair of Elesa & Rotom and Volkner & Luxray and runs until May 16th 2021
