Pokémon HOME - Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Update
The Pokémon HOME Version 3.0 update is now starting to roll out on Switch and mobile. This update is allowing players in within a staggered process to ease server load, with The Pokémon Company saying it can roll out up to 06:00 UTC tomorrow, May 31st.
It introduces connectivity with Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, adding the new Pokémon and Paldean Forms, alongside various new features including Move Reminder and the ability to tab between different game data for the Pokémon on the fly. We're currently cataloguing all elements of this update so be sure to keep checking back
Edit @ 06:12: You can now send Gimmighoul and Gholdengo from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME
Edit @ 07:30: We have updated the Depositable Pokémon List to show all Pokémon that can be deposited now, alongside the general Pokémon Listing
For a reminder, there are over 70 Pokémon and dozens of Regional Forms coded into Pokémon Scarlet & Violet that are Transfer Only. We have our full list available so be sure to check it out
Edit @ 07:50: There is a new restriction. If a Pokémon obtained from Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl gets Hyper Trained in Scarlet & Violet while under Level 100, it cannot re-enter Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl until it is Level 100 again
Edit @ 10:29: Updated the Form Changing mechanics page in Scarlet & Violet's section with details of some changes to transfer only Pokémon forms. All form changing items for Transfer Pokémon can be found in Auctions when you have the Pokémon in your game
Edit @ 10:40: Updated the Challenges Page with all the new available challenges and updated the page to now also display the rewards for completing each challenge
Edit @ 12:06: Updated the Research Tasks with full data
Edit @ 12:27: We have updated the Legality Section to include new possible evolutions with each of the game's marks
Edit @ 13:04: The size scaling carries over from Pokémon Legends Arceus, but gets randomised on transfer from prior games. XXS Size does not carry over from Pokémon GO but the others do
Edit @ 13:29: The game no longer tracks abilities between the games. If you move a Pokémon to a different game and give it an Ability Capsule or Ability Patch, then that data only remains for that game so if you move a Charmander with Blaze from Sword & Shield to Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl and use an Ability Patch to give it Solar Power, when you move it back to Sword & Shield or on to Scarlet & Violet, it will have the Ability Blaze but if you then move it back to Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, it will have Solar Power in that game
Edit @ 18:31: Created a page on Changing Moves in Pokémon HOME
