Holiday Festivities

Duration: December 15th 2021 - January 7th 2022

The second full event for Pokémon UNITE is the Holidays Festivities. During this event, the stages were set out to include a wintery theme with Remoat Island changing its psawns and a special mode within Shivre City featuring Snowballs, Snowmen and Presents. It also includes a special Illumination Challenge and introduces multiple Holowear throughout the event and the PokĂ©mon Dragonite into the game on December 20th
From December 15th to January 16th, the Special Battle will run. It's 4 vs 4 and you can't select battle items. However, when you defeat Delibird you'll get a gift allowing you to use 1 of 9 battle items
From January 1st through 4th all PokĂ©mon will have a special trial
The Illumination Challenge runs from December 15th through January 16th. Allows you to collect items and Light by completing challenges. You can then exchange these lights for items
On December 24th through January 1st you will receive a gift every day
From December 24th through January 6th there's a photo challenge. Each time you battle you get a Snowflake. With these you can unlock holiday items by filling a silhouette

Snowball Battle in Shivre City

Shivre City

The special event takes place in Shivre City and has you be unable to select items. However, when you defeat Delibird throughout the stage, it will leave a gift allowing you the chance of getting one of 9 items temporarily.

When a Pokémon is knocked out, they become a Snowman which can Jump, Cheer and Pose. The Snowman then melts and you can play again
