2016 Series

The first Pokkén Tournament Championship Series year is 2016. Following the launch of the game in March 18th 2016 worldwide and began with multiple events including a placement for Pokkén Tournament at the US National Championships. Winners of these competitions can earn an invite and travel award to the World Championships.
Masters Division major events feature: (US & UK Nationals, EVO)
 1st and 2nd place finishers earn World Championships invitation and travel award
Top 32 competitors receive Championship Points
Masters Division minor events feature: (DE & IT Nationals, CEO)
 1st place finisher earns World Championships invitation and travel award
Top 16 competitors receive Championship Points
Senior Division events feature:
 1st and 2nd place finishers earn World Championships invitation and travel award
Finally, the prize scheme has been revealed for Majors & Minors for the Master Division, each having a prize pool, currently listed only for North American events. European event prizes to be announced soon
