This device included a special controller, the Wii U GamePad, which contained a separate 853x480 screen that can mirror the Wii U's display or act as a different viewpoint for gameplay. The Nintendo Wii U also had full online capabilities including the Nintendo eShop and digital downloads. It initially came out in two variations: The Basic which was White with only 8GB of internal memory or the Premium which was Black with 32GB of internal memory.
