Like its predecessor, Pokémon Stadium 2 provides various prize Pokémon and other prizes to be given. These are unlocked through various means and require you to have the Pokémon Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver or Crystal games in the Transfer Pak of the Nintendo 64. Once obtained, you can put them directly into the boxes within Professor Oak's Laboratory

Move Relearner | |||||||||||||||||||
Before it became commonplace in Generation III, there was no way whatsoever to teach your Pokémon moves it previously learned via level up. Pokémon Stadium 2, however, provided this function. If you beat the Elite Four and Champion in the Gym Leader Castle with a team made solely of Pokémon from your game, no rentals, then you will be given the option to teach one of your Pokémon a move it could learn via level up that it has since forgotten or never known due to being caught at a high level. |
