Pok�mon X & Y - Mega Evolutions

Mega Evolutions

A brand new feature of the Pok�mon X & Y games are Mega Evolutions. These are special features of Pok�mon, different to evolutions and forms, that have your Pok�mon Mega Evolve in battle into these appearances. Their abilities, stats and sometimes even types are different. To get a Pok�mon to Mega Evolve, they need to be holding a special Mega Stone item unique to their species, as well as receiving the Mega Ring and the Key Stone. To get your Pok�mon to Mega Evolve, you can select a button when picking the move and then select a move. The Pok�mon will both evolve and attack in that turn. You may only have one Mega Evolution in a battle.

Mega Venusaur

Name: Mega Mewtwo Type: Psychic Classification: Genetic Pok�mon Height: 1.5m Weight: 33.0kg Ability: Insomnia First Appearance: Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens Details: This Pok�mon was first leaked in a promotional pamphlet of the Present Guide for the movie Extremespeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens, replacing Mewtwo on the poster with a caption calling it the Eclair Forme. However, soon afterwards it was revealed by Pok�mon Smash, though without saying it is actually a Mewtwo form with the official sites stating it as a new Pok�mon.
