Updated Pokémon Abilities In previous generations, when new abilities arose, often past Pokémon would be given a variety of new abilities. Typically these Pokémon only previously had one ability previously, and as such had a spare slot. Pokémon X & Y continues this and has provided several Pokémon with new abilities. This page is to detail the Pokémon and their abilities. Standard Abilities The following Pokémon have these abilities as their standard ability, meaning standard capture will give you a chance at getting them.
Hidden Abilities The following Pokémon have these abilities as their Hidden Ability, meaning that you can only obtain them through special means such as through Hordes or in Friend Safari, but it's not guaranteed that they will have them.
