Snowpoint City

Snowpoint City is the most northern part of the Sinnoh region. It is a city, covered in snow with the occassional snow storm and even Diamond Dust. This area has the character which teaches Trendy Phrases as well as a move tutor. It also allows for travel the the Fight Area after the defeat of the Elite Four

Move Tutors
In Platinum, in the north-east, there is a house where a Move Tutor lives. This Move Tutor will teach a variety of moves in exchange for various shards found within the region.

Gym
The Snowpoint City Gym features the same puzzle in all games. This puzzle has multiple levels of sliding ice and requires you to slide through various snowballs in order to create a path that allows you to reach Candice. Defeat Candice, and you can use HM08; Rock Climb.
