Trade |
Amongst all the Pokémon in the game, there are many which have the Trade specialty. With this specialty, a Pokémon will set up shop at any place there's a powered cash register and a table, including the PokéMart when built and the Pokémon Center when there is no special event currently happening. Then, based on the size of the countertop available, a certain amount of items will be put out. There's typically an item a Pokémon will also bring such as Lum Berry with Zorua or Rawst Berry with Chansey, and items such as PokéMetal are also frequent. The other items can be aything from materials, to crafted items and even some items only found as Lost Relics. When a Pokémon is at a cash register for trade, and not at a Pokémon Center or PokéMart, you have the capability of getting it to end trading |

Making the Trade |
When you have selected an item to trade, you will get a scale. The item will be given a weighted price based on what it is and quantity by the Pokémon and your task is to match or exceed the desired value using up to four different items, though you can use more than 4 of each individual item, from your bag. Each item has got its own value based on what it is. In addition to this, if the item has characteristics that match the Pokémon doing the trading's favourite things, they will get a 50% increase on the points. For example, Chansey likes Fluffy things, Round things and so forth and when trading with it, an Eevee Doll which typically would be worth 1,000 Points for the trade is instead worth 1,500. The same with CDs increasing from 500 Points to 750 Points. These items have their values coloured in orange to differentiate With this in mind, the trading can be controlled so that items the Pokémon like can be given and you get more for less so you need to double check the Pokémon's likes before entering the trade. |
