The Nintendo Switch 2 was the successor to the Nintendo Switch featuring more powerful hardware while continuing on the hybrid nature of its predecessor being able to dock and undock between handheld and docked play at a moment's notice. It has full backwards compatibility with the games on its predecessor including the Pokémon games
