Throughout the game, there are numerous plants, berries and hedges that you can find in each of the areas. While there is a standard Berry or a standard colour for each, you may find a second berry and a different colour of each plant. However, these aren't the only variants of the plants available. There are a total of five different colours of each plant and five berries to find within the game. With this, as you chop down trees or remove ground you will get seeds for them to grow them. Using a Pokémon with Grow, you can speed this up. A tree would take 4 days as standard to grow, or shorter with a Pokémon using Grow, and Flowers would take a day, or are instant if you have a Pokémon with Grow. There is a twist, however. With each save file, every player gets the standard or each, and one random berry and one random colour of each of the plant variant. These are the ones that grow natively in your game. There are ways to get the others. The most obvious one is by going to other people's islands or Cloud Islands, taking a picture and 3D Printing them. However, in addition to that, on the odd occasion, a Pokémon will be willing to trade a specific berry, and the Daily Shop at the PC has a chance of providing one of the other variants of the plants. Sometimes, PokĂ©mon will also give you seeds for the other variants as well. |
