Whirlpools |
|
Much like the Sparkling Ripples in prior areas, there are special features that give you items when you are underwater, these are Whirlpools. They will be found throughout Sea Water and up can find u p to 5 whirlpools at once. These will gradually regenerate over the day meaning you can get more than 5 in a day. On Sunday, there is a special bonus which adds an additional whirlpool. You can also use the Mosslax boosts to get up to 3 more ripples at any one time. In addition, the whirlpool count is separate to the sparkling ripple count When you interact with a whirlpool, you will go into it and pull out an item. This includes a variety of items and typically pulls from the same item table as sparkling ripples if you manage to get them to appear on other islands. However, it will give different recipes than the sparkling ripples. Sometimes, you will find a sparkling ripple that is glowing even more than usual. These typically will always contain very rare items such as recipes or Pokémetal. In addition to that, you will also sometimes get a prompt that you have found something good which requires you to rapidly press the A button. |
