In the Jaune District, you will find Naveen but Banette is nowhere to be seen. However, Banette appears out of the shadows and immediately Mega Evolves.

Banette starts off with a gimmick instantly and uses Double Team which makes multiple copies of it that act as decoys and will all use Shadow Ball against you. This is while Banette will use Phantom Force and Confuse Ray against you to do damage. Its main special has it charge up and rush towards with Shadow Claw

Defeat it for the Banettite Mega Stone but L will appear and commends you for helping to save Pokémon from the pain of Rogue Mega Evolved Pokémon. He says your task is to hone your skills until you can support Zygarde and questions why Emma is following him and Zygarde.
