Z-A Royale |

When it's night in Lumiose City, it's time for the Z-A Royale. During the night, special Battle Zones will appear throughout Lumiose City where trainers and their Pokémon will battle it out. These will take over the area and adds a new twist to each area. The Battle Zones will be filled with trainers as well as Prize Medals and special cards, as well as the items that would normally adorn the area. These trainers can also be found on the roofs of buildings. They will reset over time and by flying to other areas. After completion of the story, you open the Infinite Royale which features no further Rank up. This opens up 3 Battle Zones at a time and as you complete more Infinite Royales, your opponents will change and become higher level as well. The Prize Medals you obtain will also increase based on your rank

Battles |

When you approach trainers, you will get notifications on their strengths and how they are in accordance to you. If you are spotted, then you will have to have a battle. However, you can also attack them sneakily with a surprise attack to start your battle with an advantage. When each battle is complete, you will get a certain number of points based on your rank of up to 2,500 Points per battle. In addition to this, you will get a special amount of points. Some trainers will also give you special bonuses after defeating them if you talk to them: Trainers will match your rank or be 1 rank higher or lower than you during the game's story. |

Throughout the Battle Zones you will find special cards> These will feature a variety of tasks for you to complete with the number of times and have varying points as rewards, scaling up based on your rank. Sometimes you will get a rare Bonus card. This offers an even bigger yield of points of up to 20,000 upon completion. The tasks vary from landing hits with specific type moves to sneaking up on opponents. Bonus Point TasksBurn opposing Pokémon!Confuse opposing Pokémon! Deal supereffective damage with Plus Moves! Defeat Trainers who are higher ranked than you! Freeze opposing Pokémon! Immediately knock out unaware opponents with your first blow! Knock opponents out with a Mega-Evolved Pokémon! When night ends and it becomes daytime again, you will get some additional rewards based on the amount of trainers you have defeated and the Prize Medals you have collected The Prize Medals are multiplied into a PokéDollar amount of up to 10* in the Infinite Royale and then you get an additional bonus based on the amount of trainers you have defeated

Rank Up Battles |

Once you have battled enough trainers, and earned enough points, you will get a Challenger Ticket that allows for you to battle in a Rank Up match. In the game story this requires you to go to the trainer but in the Infinite Royale you can go to Quasartico Inc. for calling up a trainer. This starts off in an order but randomises after you have battled 20 times Infinite Royale Reward Match Rewards
